Viva Decor 50gm Inka Gold Metal Gloss Paint, Cobalt Blue

I like all the Inka Gold colors that I have - the gold, silver, copper, and now blue and red - and all of them are gorgeous. They are easy to use, just spread it on with a fingertip or a paintbrush. They do wonders for porous surfaces, and they dry so fast you'll be amazed. I do a lot of work with paper of all kinds, and so far I've had no difficulty with the Inka Gold paints. At least I think they're paints, but they feel like a massage bar, creamy and slick. They clean up with water, and store easily. I was concerned about the appearance of moisture on the inside of the lid, but so far I haven't noticed any difficulty. And I've used them as a watered down paint for smaller areas, using a bit of that moisture on my brush and dabbing the brush on the solid paint. It's hard to describe the solid creamy slick feeling of these paints, but they dry shiny. And if you buff them a bit with a soft cloth after they're dry, they get even shinier. Awesome!

Just what I needed to add a little something to some tooled leather for a jewellery set. A little goes a long way and adds a nice finish on leather. Jewellery now made and completed...now I just need the right outfit to show it off.This stuff can be used over leather dyes and over leather paints. I use a water-based leather dye and gold leather paint rubbed into the tooled areas and then the Inka Gold directly on my finger tips brushed onto the surface and rubbed to a nice sheen (use an old facecloth). Applying with fingers allows you to not use as much (one does not lose it in the applicator cloth or sponge) and prevents it from going into the tooled areas. The stuff washes off skin quit easily, but your nails might need a quick file as the colour absorbs into the edges of the nails.

As in all Inka Gold paints, they are creamy and add that spice to any piece of work. I use it primarily to burnish/antique polymer clay, before I bake it. It always comes out beautiful. The iridescent colors are rich and have a luster that is unmatched by any other paints that I have tried. I very highly recommend this paint.

Not as shiny/shimmery as hoped but otherwise okay.

I love all the Inka golds. They are beautiful paints. Thick and smooth, adds a gorgeous sheen to the paintings/clay pieces/altered bottles/etc. that you use it on. Be careful not to use your finger directly in the tub. The oils from your fingers can cause mold that needs to be scraped off.

Love this stuff!! I want all the colors now. This is just gorgeous, it makes any project you work on pop with glorious vibrancy. It has a fun texture and is enjoyable to use. I love it in my mixed media art.
