Celestion 8-in Midrange Driver Speaker Exceptional performance through bass and mid-Range: Ideal for 2-way systems

I put this speaker in a 5 watt monoprice guitar amp. It will fit with zero extra room. To my ears it sounds much better. More bass and it doesn’t fart out when giving it the gas.Big magnet! Makes the og speaker look like a toy.

Works as it should

This speaker sounds great for what I want out of it. I wanted to get a replacement 8" speaker for my Orange PPC108 cab. My main criteria were higher wattage than the 20w speaker in the cab and more bass response for when I play 8-string guitar. It delivers on both. A big bump in volume, also in weight. It has a much bigger magnet than my stock speaker. The only issue I ran into was that the holes on the TF0818 didn't line up with the screw holes in the cab. I used one of the original screw holes and drilled 3 new ones. This was much cheaper than buying a new, larger cab and I'm happy with it.

Listing says "Celestion TF 0818 150 Watt 8inch" but I received the Celestion TF 0818MR 100 Watt 8inch speaker that doesn't have openings in the back. The speaker I received still sounds better than expected. In my picture I decided to put the speaker upsidown in the cab so I took off the sticker so it's not noticeable, now I'm wishing I didn't so you can easily see it's not the same speaker.

Used it to replace woofers on a set of old infinity speakers, an immediate improvement in midrange and quality of Bass. In a sealed enclosure these have a very accurate and clear sound perfect for music that is heavy on vocals.

Cheap junk. Bought one and stuck it in a cab for a 50 watt amp. The speaker's rated at 100 watts, but it blew after the first gig I took it to. The warranty wasn't much help. So there was that money straight down the drain. It sounded OK before it quickly died for what that's worth.

These speakers rock, they sound as good as my marshall cabinets! I am very pleased with my purchase, the quality is very good and it works very well. I would recommend this product to everyone.

I purchased two of these to replace the speakers in some 30 year old Infinity wooded speaker boxes that got brittle with age. These speakers are better than original!

I bought this speaker to upgrade a small cab to be used as a guitar and bass cab. Has a very nice articulate sounds when used with guitar adding a lot of deep lows. Much bigger beefier sound overall. Was very surprised how well it handles the lows on my active 5 string bass, very clear and punchy...used with trace elliot elf. Overall a very good upgrade for any small 8 inch cab or amp. Adds so much more depth, I will highly recommend this speaker to any guitar or bass enthusiast!!
