Shannon Minky Cuddle Baby Giraffe Cappuccino, Fabric by the Yard

The colors of this Giraffe Print Minky Cuddle by Shannon Fabrics photo is exactly what you'll get. I have purchased this same fabric at a retailer that wasn't online and it is easier than other Minky Cuddle by Shannon to work with because it's a 3 mm pile. I will only buy Minky Cuddle (the "Cuddle" is a trademark so any other brand of Minky cannot use that term) by Shannon Fabrics because they are the company that developed and created Minky and the minimum pile is alway 3 mm. It is more expensive than other brands of Minky but the feel is so different in softness. You'll get what you pay for. All of the other Minky brands, including JoAnn, are also only 2 mm pile (the height of the fibers) including Michael Miller or Robert Kaufman Minky, designers who's quality far surpasses other manufacturers in quality and thread count. I don't know what MM or RK Minky feels like so if you are going to go with them, I would buy a swatch instead of yards just to make sure it's what you want. I've worked with so much Minky over the years that Shannon Fabrics holds strong. Again, before buying any Minky, even Shannon Fabrics, I would ask for a swatch as to my preference is from my own experience and your level of softness or look or quality preference may be different. All in all, this fabric won't disappoint. I'll come back and add a picture after I'm done making this blanket.

Really cute fabric, easy to sew with.

This material was super soft and fit the them of my co-worker's nursery perfectly. This was one side of a tie-blanket that I made. The finished product was great and my co-worker and his wife loved it.

I used this for making a giraffe hooded towel. Turned out great. Good quality, good color.

This Fabric was delivered today and has large flaws in the print in 2 areas. I have to use it because I have an order due to ship tomorrow, but Cutting around it will cause me to lose about 30 plus inches of what I ordered Check your fabric when delivered to be sure you don't have this also. I have added pictures of both areas on imperfection

This fabric is very soft and warm feeling. IT's a little lighter in color than I thought but it is realistic and cozy.

I fear that the pile on this fabric is not constant with other Shannon Fabrics I have purchased before. I have a kit with the baby giraffe fabric from Shanna Fabrics, nice high pile, that is what I thought I was buying. I am super disappointed, as I was hoping to use for a baby quilt. In addition, the shipping was not two days prime, rather 9 days.
