Sony BRAVIA KD55XG70 55-inch LED 4K HDR Ultra HD Smart TV - Black (2019 model) [Energy Class A] [Energy Class A]

Picked this TV up just under a week ago now. Really pleased for the price...screen size is brilliant and the HDR 4K is really nice makes a change from my old 2014 43" Sony (Which I still have in another room now and working great still!!) Overall really happy considering the price and the year of this TV. Really sturdy, build quality is strong and premium. Note it is a little fiddly getting the legs on if you are not wall mounting but it's not terribly hard...just need a pair of extra hands or a pile of books to nudge it up whilst you slot them in and screw in place! :)I Brought this TV really for the 4k HDR for my PS4 Pro and then later for the PS5...so far works really well with the console and I think for the first part of next gen gaming I believe it will do well, obvs will have to wait until getting a 120fps OLED 8K flatty for some ultimate PS5 action..but I think we can get on nicely with this TV for now :)Smart TV options for me are fine. Netflix and YouTube control shortcut buttons work FAST and are ideal for me. I don't use the TV smart options or apps as I use a Firestick or my playstation for any apps and such so if you do the same it will work well for you for sure! The TV is also very fast and doesn't take long to boot up and getting working. Guide is fast when searching for programmes etc...I think some smart TVs. can lag a little and take minutes to be ready to use..this is quick and easy which I really love about it..very similar to my old model which is nice!Set-up is a super simple really easy to connect to the internet and tune in to digital services also. Pre-set colour handling seems legit out the box and you literally don't have to do anything more to sit and enjoy this TV!!Overall fantastic TV grabbed a real bargain with this one and I hope you get the same opportunity as I did to purchase it too!! It will not disappoint you if you are looking for a budget 4K television really really nice! Thank you Sony yet again!

Very pleased generally. For this price, a really nice telly with some good features. My only serious gripe is that motion smoothing was ON out of the box and the control is buried deep in the menus. I have a real aversion to features like this, that may appeal to some purchasers, but which completely mess up the viewing experience of others, being set as the default. At least, if they’re going to insist on showing off certain features, manufacturers should a) make them available in the top level of their menus, and b) not identify them by a proprietary name, so that switching them off is MUCH easier. The Netflix app seems a little flaky, crashing occasionally, which may or may not be down to Sony. All other apps work well, however. The remote control isn’t the most elegant thing in the world.

Had this for a while now, all good. Not quite as punchy as an OLED, but half the price. I think the "punchyness" on all modern TVs has got to the point that's it's unrealistic, so taking it down a notch is no bad thing.

TV is amazing. Picture quality is on point. Was easy to assemble had a little difficulty setting up the internet etc as I'm not very tech savvy and the instructions didnt say how to do it either as the manual only shows how to assemble and switch on the TV. Otherwise would have given 5 stars for the TV.

TV is really good, I liked the picture and the sound. Cant see any negatives.Although I am sure the latest models are better, this works well for me.

How times have changed.Iv had a sony tv for years. So when i decided to buy a smart tv i looked at sony again. The picture is great from any angle. Light or dark. Gaming. Films. Normal tv works a treatThe biggest problem with this model is the smart side. It crashes everyweek. Loading takes for ever. The app store is very limited (VERY) probaly i have to re-enter the wifi info once a month because somehow its forgotten it.If your after a tv to watch then its great. If u want one to use the smart side skip this model. Im so disapointed i bought it.

Great picture quality. Perfect for watching TV or playing computer. Only downside would be I advise getting soundbar for it. But for the price compared with rest of market worth it

Awesome TV, stunning picture quality, remote control main circular buttons are a bit close together for my large digits. Also tricky to access internet services such as Google.
