What does Micro mean? Is it smaller than regular Legos?

They fit with regular Lego sizes, but they're the small one pegged pieces

Is this suitable for a 13 year old or is he too old?

I bought it for my 14 year old son and he loves it. Personally, I don't think you're ever to old for Legos. The only thing I would suggest is that you consider buying two minecraft Lego sets. They aren't very big and my son had his assembled in minutes. I hope this helps.

Does this come with instruction booklet 1 & 2

I dont know. I assume it comes with the instructions for just the kit inside.
