Seems to work pretty well for what it is. I have only been using it for a month, but so far it works well. Stores about a days worth of a newborn's dirty diapers. I imagine as the diapers get bigger it may need to be emptied more often. Easy to use, easy to empty, and keeps the diaper scent well trapped. The only (very slight) issue I have is that the lid opens very forcefully. We have it close to a wall, and the lid will smack into it very hard if we don't remember to move it about an inch away. A very minor quibble.

I purchased this item last year and returned 2 of them because of the locking mechanism on the top ( it would not latch closed at all). It came with a piece of tape so you didn’t notice till you took it off and it just popped open. The new model is 100% redesigned and I can say this because I did keep the 3rd one I received last year and made a Velcro closure that was simple and it worked. I absolutely recommend this improved model for anyone who has kids and even anyone who doesn’t! I use it for tissues when sick or in my bathroom for anything not flushable.

We no longer have diapers in the house but use it for the disposal of ‘flushable’ wipes (which are bad to flush according to plumbers and waste management professionals—no matter what the manufacturers say). The small pail is perfect! Time-tested and mom-approved.

This is great and holds enough dirty newborn diapers for the day! We do change it out every day. There's enough space to hold enough diapers for the day. My only complaint is that the space for holding wipes doesn't work well for us. We use Target brand wipes and it doesn't fit into that space

I love that it holds diapers/wipes. I also like that its not a huge bin bc it gets gross after awhile. Since its shorter you change it every 1-2 days and its great.

Bought this for our living room changing station. We wanted something small and out of the way that wasn't an eyesore if we had people over. At about 6-8 diapers a day this will hold maybe 2-3 days before a change which is not a big deal. I rather change more frequently than having week old dirty diapers sitting in the trash. Holds smell in just fine. No issues with lid mechanism or anything.

This is the BEST diaper genie for portable use. This is a great grandparent gift for sure!!! I would love to buy this for all my Grandparent friends as a grandbaby gift!!! I have bought two already and would love to buy more. This is great for that 2nd vacation home when the family goes. It is also fantastic to take on trips as well. Its a shame this product is currently unavailable.

The organization caddy makes it to bulky for travel. It’s too wide and cumbersome Would have loved if the caddy was not molded to the genie. I would remove it.

With adding a 5th baby to this busy household I was looking for a simple solution for a diaper station on the main floorAfter ending up with a C-section this has been a lifesaver the last few weeks. I can easily move the diaper station and change the baby without having to go all the way to the nursery.There so far has been 0 smell coming from the diaper pail part but those diapers aren't very stinky anyway.Holds about 5 newborn diapers, a full size penaten diaper cream tin, a refill package of wipes and random toddler toys 🤣

We love this! East on the go, can keep in the car or upstairs close to us when we need it. The portability is fantastic! Although it only fits a few diapers at a time we highly recommend this!

Love my portable Diaper Genie caddy! Long time user of the full size product here. I was definitely worried about purchasing the mini because so many people say the lid doesn't stay closed, but mine works like a charm! My twins and I will be bringing it over to grandma's tomorrow :) Keep in mind the mini definitely needs to be changed a LOT more often, but that's to be expected!
