Vet Solutions ProBiolac for Kittens (200 gm)

This stuff seems a lot healthier than the typical pet store kitten formula, like KMR. I have been fostering a momma cat and she loved this stuff before she gave birth and continues to drink it now after she has had her kittens. This is great because I know she is getting plenty of the nutrients she needs to pass along to her kittens through her own milk.To give momma cat a break since she had a big litter, I thought I would try to feed this to the kittens. They all took one whiff of it and then shook their heads like they had just smelled something awful--like a human baby will when you try to feed it something it finds disgusting. lol Very cute but not good if you want them to drink this. (To be fair, they did the same thing to the KMR so it is probably the same way with all formulas.)I think that in instances where there is no mother cat, this stuff would be good enough and the kittens would accept it, but my kittens are spoiled by the real thing.I would recommend this over products like KMR because the ingredients are just better and the kittens and momma cat will be able to digest it better. My momma cat, while drinking KMR, was having the worst smelling bowel movements! Now that she's drinking the Pro-Biolac, it has gotten considerably better which tells me she is able to digest this much more efficiently.

Purchased for my 3 year old stray who did not get proper kitten care as a baby from original caregiver. Cuppy is small and had 7 babies so I wanted to boost her nutrition. I've used the other 2 major brands in the past but after reading negative reviews decided to give this a try. Glad I did! Cuppy loved it, and I fed it to her 2-3 times a day mixed with coconut milk. She actually grew about 2 inches longer!!! and is much healthier looking and her kittens are healthy and plump. It has given her the extra boost she needs to deal with such a large litter. I will be buying more in the future just to keep boosting her nutrition until she achieves her right size. She looks great. Well worth the extra money!

we give this to our handicapped cat as a treat every night. He loved it so much when we found him as a kitten and still looks forward to it everyday. Poor little guy had to have a bilateral FHO when he was only a few months old do to a birth defect in his hip. He also has CH which unfortunately is causing him not to be able to walk again since the surgery. He only weighed 5 ounces we I found him on the side of the road. He was probably abandoned by his mother because she knew he had issues and wasn't normal. The vet said he was near death. After about a week on the formula his great personality started showing. He purrs all the time! We use the ProBiolac as a motivation and we help him walk to the bowl every night.

Alright here goes a completely unbiased opinion for all you animal lovers worried about getting this for your babies!!! I ordered this because of the positive reviews because my 2 three week old kittens have gotten the runs from KMR and that really worries me. I make sure to feed them the correct amount and I've been feeding them that since the first week but they just won't stop, I've put pedialyte in the formula, karo syrup, I've taken them to be checked for worms and found out the formula was the problem so I've switched over! I've only had this product for two days so I'll come back and post a review in a week and again in a month to let you all know exactly how well this works but my babies are so pleased with this product! It fills them up and has everything my sweethearts need to grow big and strong which makes me very happy. I read you can also feed this to nursing mom's and sick cats so I've been feeding this to a Tom that is having an allergic reaction and can't eat hard food. He hated KMR and loves this. I honestly thinks this product smells good in a strange way, opening the can I get a waft of what seems like cookies even though it has nothing but amazing products inside! I'll be back with another review!!!

I am so glad I found a product I can trust on any kitten. I have used KMR as it has been recommended by vets and everyone I've ever talked to. However, I bottle feed ALOT of kittens for rescue and I am convinced that KMR kills kittens. It will take a healthy kitten and in 24 hours or less they will be lethargic due to the diarrhea it induces. You can hang up the idea of saving a weak kitten on it. I was so upset through struggling with diarrhea and dehydration and swollen bottoms kitten after kitten. I knew there had to be something better so I researched and found this product. Kittens have very solid stool, love the taste, gain weight quickly, grow, and play. I couldn't ask for more. To top it off, you can take a "non thriving" kitten as the vet would say and this product will save it's life. It has for me! When nothing else works and the vet won't help bc they "can't to anything for kittens this young" use this!! It will make a difference. I also recommend using kayro, bounce back, and panacur. If you still have diarrhea on this product...it's parasites. Worm and deflea your kittens on day one. You won't be sorry you did! Also make sure to keep them on a heating pad. Warmth is a must for good digestion and preventing upperrespiratory infections. Viyralis or l-lysine tabs are a product that will keep your kittens from getting sick and cure watery eyes. Goodluck

I foster underage kittens and diarrhea is often a problem that can be dangerous if the kitties get dehydrated due to loss of body fluids in the diarrhea. Pro-biolac contains a probiotic which is helpful in controlling diarrhea in young kittens, often without additional medication.

I have used this four times a day for kittens whose mother cannot feed them. I used this from the first week to the now 8 weeks and the kittens are all healthy and active. They thrived on it. It is easy to mix and feed. I used a little nursing bottle for the first few weeks. I only add it to moisten their dry kitten food now. No stomach upsets and they like it.

Kittens like the taste and it smells better than other brands. Buying again!
