So far, so good
Bought this for an older PortaCool. The biggest problem with the older PortaCool's is that there are no drain plugs in the bottom of the basin(s). Therefore, getting the basin clean is a pain in the buttocks. The manufacturer relied on the pump to clean out the basin via the upper drain attached to the side of the cooler.... I don't like that because I don't want these pumps pumping dirt and trash if I can avoid it. I suspect that is part of the reason they prematurely fail. I installed this pump a week ago, and so far it works great. I will update if it does ot live up to expectations.
