The best for a mounted 200mm lens.
I'm a photo bag nut and have every major brand, but over the last few years have gravitated to Think Tank. An Urban Disguise 30 is my main bag for my Nikon D7000 with three medium sized lenses and a flash. For my D700 with grip and 70-200mm f2.8, I had been using the Think Tank Retrospective 30. That bag can accommodate the D700 with the mounted zoom, but not well. The Retrospective is so wide in width and breadth that the top-heavy camera pivots on the lens and wobbles all over, held in place mainly by the closed unpaded main flap for which the velcro-only closure is insufficiently secure for such a heavy camera and lens combo. So the Retrospective 30 claim of accomodating the mounted 200mm zoom is a half-truth. Yes, it will fit, but not with satisfactory security and protection. The UD35, on the other hand, is perfect for the D700/grip/70-200f2.8 combo. The case is two inches deeper, and the shelf on the back which folds down over the unused rear laptop compartment anchors the gripped camera perfectly so that there is no wobble at all. Closure is with a big, rugged zipper so that there is no insecurity if the bag gets turned upside down in an airplane overhead storage shelf. The case easily accomodates the camera/grip/200zoom combo plus wide angle and mid-range zooms, a 50mm F1.2 and an sb800 flash. A short 16-inch-folded monopod fits vertically in a corner of the rear compartment, secured by the closed rear zipper and sticking out two inches over the top.All this, with unexpected standing stability for such a tall bag - it's hard to tip over - and Think Tank's usual ruggedness and attention to detail.Negatives? What was a compartment with a long zipper running along the top and one side of the front flap on the previous UD35-2 version of this bag now has much more limited access through a small zippered horizontal slit. An ipod under this front flap was an option in the 2 version, but not in this latest Classic version. However this loss shouldn't be a problem, as a full sized ipod will fit well in the generous front pocket behind the main flap, or under the shelf for the camera grip in the rear compartment. The version 3 Classic has additional advantages in the reconfigured, wider-opening main zipper, the split shoulder pad which allows much more comfortable mounting on a wheeled carry-on bag, and that the wide rear pocket is in addition to the pass through for a carry-on handle. Version 2 of the UD35 is still available for $50 less than the Classic, and may be a better choice for a smaller camera body. Either version of the Think Tank UD35 should not disappoint. Five well-earned stars for my Classic version.

Love this bag
Love this bag! It's stylish profile doesn't make it look like a camera bag but still very spacious to fit a lot of gear. First time truly using this weekend on a quick getaway and I was able to COMFORTABLY carry the following items below. Due to being on call for work and visiting family and their newborn, it allowed me to push the limits a little and was very surprised at what I was able to fit into the bag. I do not own the backpack harness straps but definitely picking it up to pair with the bag.D750 (not gripped)70-200 2.885 1.850 1.8Tokina 100 2.8SB-800Dell Latitude 14" laptop (work laptop)Microsoft Surface Pro 4 w/ typecoverRAVPower 23000mAh powerbank (for Surface)Transcend SD Card Reader 3.08 AA rechargeable batteriesSamsung phone chargerLG Bluetooth Headphones

Great so far.
So far so good. Great quality. I ordered several other brands from here and they just weren't what I needed. I finally went to a local camera store that had everything I was interested in. I decided on this make and model. I mostly shoot sports and this handles my Canon 7D MII with 70-200 ATTACHED. Also handles a mid zoom and large flash no problem. And still plent of room for accessories.
