Great for reducing ingrown hairs!
Burt's Bees Natural Skin Care Shave Cream is simply the bee's knees. I have been using it for a couple years now. I have pretty fair and sensitive skin and my facial hair grows pretty quick/thick. I found that the usual shave gels (Gillette, Edge, etc.) would cause me to break out with a lot of ingrown hairs. This stuff really helps to avoid that.I use it with my Norelco Sensotouch 3D electric razor (which can shave wet or dry). Combined with a couple other skin products, my ingrown hairs have been reduced significantly. I pat dry (DON'T RUB/SCRUB your face with your towel) my face and follow up with Dove Men+Care Sensitive Post Shave Balm. This combo seems to work pretty well for my skin. Little or no breakouts/ingrown hairs.Pros:-Reduces my skin irritation/ingrown hairs-I get a nice close shave with my electric.-I'm not a super "all natural" or "green" guy, but I do like that this is natural and not full of random chemicals, especially considering it goes on my face pretty much daily.-It has a nice clean/natural smell to it. It doesn't smell like Axe Body Spray like so many other men's skincare products do. I prefer not to smell like a 16 year old boy.-It applies easily on wet skin. I doesn't quite foam up like your usual shave gel or cream.-Cleans off easily. I don't feel like there's a residue leftover.-It is compatible with the Sensotouch 3D shaver.Cons:-More expensive than regular shave gel/cream-I wish it came in a bigger tube. I go through it fairly quickly.-The tube design does not make it easy to squeeze out every last drop (which you want to do considering the price per ounce).Note: I've only tried this a couple times with a traditional razor, so I can only really speak to it working with electric shavers.

best shave product i have used
For a guy with sensitive skin, I have never looked back after using this cream. Don't expect a fancy, useless lather. Expect a smooth, burn free shave. Some complain that it doesn't lather up. Who cares? A nice shave is what you want and I always HATED shaving with the aerosol can stuff. One thing I dislike is it can tend to gum up on the blade, but with regular rinsing its ok. I can deal with that because my skin doesn't burn whatsoever with this cream, whereas before I dreaded shaving because I had a burning neck for some time after every shave. You'll like this cream if you have sensitive skin. Just don't expect a lather. It is a cream, applies like a cream, and gives great results in my opinion. It does leave your skin with a feeling that you just applied lotion or a small amount of oily soap on it. Sort of smooth and yet moist. Certainly not dry or yucky. My wife really likes it too. I can actually shave a few spots really quick without putting anything else on my skin if I miss a spot after shaving in the shower. And no cuts or burns if I do it just a bit.I have used this exact cream for probably 3 years and love it. It may not be for everyone. Again, if you want lather or are picky on how quickly the blade glides on your skin then you may want something else. If you are willing to shave slower (yes, it does need you to shave slower) and want zero burns then try it. I honestly don't know why some gave it such harsh comments.

Excellent shave cream. Tip on how to get more cream out the tube at the very end.
Burt's Bees is an excellent shave cream. Yes, it is a bit expensive but it gives a very smooth shave, the skin feels very smooth after it. My husband said that he seems to get less irritation and ingrown hairs since he started using it. It smells nice without smelling like a cologne or aftershave. The only flaw the product has is that the tube design makes it hard to get all of it when it is almost all gone. Given the price that felt unfortunate, so when the tube became almost empty my husband cut the bottom end open with scissors and then used a tube squeezer to keep it closed so it would not dry out. This gave him several extra days of shave cream. This was after nothing would come out from the tube top! This has become a regular item for us. Good stuff!Ali Julia review

Best Shave Cream for DE razor (that does not require a brush)
I've looked far and wide, and have stopped at this shave cream. It is absolutely the best shave cream commercially available that does not require a brush to use.I shave with a double edged safety razor. I got tired of having to suds up the soap in the bowl every morning, and not being able to just shave in the shower. I like a good shave, but I like sleeping in more. So, I started searching to find a reasonable alternative that I could use with a safety razor in the shower. I started with the cans, but nothing would do it for me. I moved to creams and started with the cheap stuff readily available: kiss my face, Neutrogena, etc.. which were all sort of plasticy and thick, not good. Then I went expensive: Anthony logistics - too astringent face felt bleached aftterward, proraso - absolute best but requires brush.Burt's Bees shave cream is easy to use wherever I shave, protects my face while shaving, leaves it feeling moisturized afterward, and smells nice. The only thing I don't particularly like is it feels very thin when applying it, which left my face feeling exposed at first, but after using it a while I have gotten used to it.

The Best Substitute for Kiss My Face Moisture Shave
I was in a state of great consternation. Kiss My Face went out of business. The remaining stock of Moisture Shave was selling for $40 per bottle. My face was disappearing into a bush of unshaven hair. I needed a comparable replacement immediately before I turned into the wolf man. Burt's Bee's proved to be the best. Now it is not quite as good as Moisture Shave, but the difference is marginal. It is the perfect balance of wateriness and oiliness and does not clog my razor. I provides a smooth, comfortable shave, and smells good. Like Moisture Shave it is also cruelty-free. Until Moisture Shave returns to the market (if it ever does), this is the best replacement aside from turning to dry shaves.

Go for supermarket foam instead
Was expecting for the price either a fantastically smooth shave or a fantastically good smelling cream. I got neither, and to top that the tube leaked all over my sponge bag. Better off with a two quid aerosol of foam from local supermarket to be honest.

Not sealed
The item arrived well wrapped but when my husband went to use the shaving cream he found that the top was not sealed for some reason. Perhaps you could check with the chemist as to why.
