⚡ Power Up Your Projects with Ease!
The UCTRONICS PoE Splitter 5V [2-Pack] is an active PoE to micro USB adapter that allows you to power non-PoE devices like Raspberry Pi, Echo Dot, and more using a single Ethernet cable. Compliant with IEEE 802.3af, it simplifies your setup by delivering both power and data, extending your reach up to 300 feet, and reducing cable clutter.

Quick and easy USB power from PoE
I have 6 of these for my older Raspberry Pi projects that can't use the more modern PoE hats. Works well for continuous duty applications and doesn't get too hot.

Great for older PIs that do not support the POE hat.
These are a perfect fit to power up an older Raspi that does not have the header to use with a POE hat.To be fair, I have not put these through their paces to see how far I can push their current ratings. I bought these to power an older PI off the network that has nothing connected to it other than network and some temperature sensors. But for this, it has worked perfectly for several months now and does not produce much heat.Fair Warning Since It May Not Be Obvious:Both of the devices in this kit are to deliver POE to a device. You cannot put one on both sides of the wire to send POE from one to the other. These are designed to connect to a CAT5/6/7 cable that has the other end connected to a POE switch or a proper POE Injector.

Works great for PI 2/PI 3b+ network servers
Used this for Pihole and DB server. They just power up with the switch and the cabling is cleaner.

Running solid for a few weeks without issue
I’m powering several Pi 3s with these and they are performing as expected off a 500Watt UniFi 48 port switch. Cheaper than hats.

Great companion for rPi when using POE
Been running solid for over a month. I bought this to minimize wall worts for my network rack. I am running an rPi 2b as a Ubiquiti Unifi controller and have this running from the Unifi 60w switch. Yes, it does take up a POE port but in my case it was worth it as the network is on a UPS and saving on one more plug helps keep things simple.

Nice POE adapter for Raspberry PI
Nice way to add POE to a raspberry Pi. Bought a few, others used to power a Wyze cam until I upgrade cameras. I would buy again... actually, I did. Lol

Great way to ditch the wall wart
These are great for powering my raspberry pi's. They have helped me get rid of all the cord clutter. An added bonus I found out about is that I can use these to power Chromecast and firestick devices by using the firestick Ethernet dongle.

I should have used POE sooner
The ability to run 1 cable to power and secure data transfer, what's not to like?I was slow to adopt POE. Now, I'm running all my Pi's and Unifi AP's on POE.

works with Hubitat Elevation and Lutron Caseta Pro
Hubitat hub and lutron caseta hub are now connected to a POE switch (Netgear JGS524PE), without a single problem. Just plugged a cat6 lan cable to the splitter, and voilà... No config, no errors, a true plug and play !

It does not work on Amcrest Camera
The media could not be loaded. It does not work on Amcrest Camera IP2M-841W-V3 with micro USB connection. No power to camera. I may have received bad cables. Bad luck.
