I am pleased with this purchase. I would not recommend a split king to my friends unless they really needed it to get into a tight staircase or hallway. We read the reviews prior to installing the unit. Many people expressed concern about the gap filler crushing into the gap and then being useless. My husband cut a piece of foam egg crating to place between the beds prior to us installing the gap filler. It has been about a week, and I can say this seems to have been quite successful. We did end up using a regular king size bottom sheet instead of the two twin sheets. We purchased one from Amazon with elastic all the way around the edge, which seems to do the trick. The band that goes around the bed seemed a little light weight, and I was afraid it would not hold well with the extra egg crating between the beds, but is seems to be doing the job quite nicely. Overall, a good purchase.

After reading lots of reviews I was really happy to see the company finally put out an updated much improved version of the Create A King and Doubler Plush. I purchased for my guest room that has two twin-XL beds. I regularly host an Airbnb so the flexibility of having twins or king in the same room have already garnered positive reviews from my guests.First thing, I was really pleased with the quality of materials. The Easy King’s top cover looks and feels like my modern mattress top. The underside has a plush layer works really well covering up any awkward peaks from the two beds. Some of the other options on Amazon seemed really uncomfortable and cheap quality.Installation: Very simple and I really liked the mattress depth options by passing the strap through any of the 3 loops for the cloth topComfort/stability testing: I tried pressing my elbow into the gap and didn't notice a thing. The twins have a pillow top and the product really created a seamless surface. In between guest stays I also checked for any separation from the straps. I only re-tightened it slightly once after 3 guest bookings and it continues to stay safe and secure. Although it is machine washable I decided to get a King size encasement for easy maintenance.Don't bother with do it yourself options and cheaper products. I have already recommended it to a few friends and colleagues.

This product allowed me to convert two twin beds into a king size bed. Had the product installed in about 15 minutes. Directions and installation were relatively easy. I would say this product is probably residential in quality, and not the heavy-duty commercial products used in hotels. I have a large teenager who sleeps in this bed, and the 'bridge' continues to fall through the 'crack' and has to be adjusted. Doesn't hold the beds together as well as I would like, but does an ok job. Installing a king size mattress pad over it will probably make the problem go away.

These are very handy to have as we own a B & B and two of our rooms have twin XL beds we can convert to kings with this strap to give us flexibility in our bookings. My only complaint is the plastic in the buckles is not terribly durable and the tang broke off one of them when we were making up a king for a guest. Overall it is a good product but do be careful not to over-tighten the strap.

I've had this for a couple years and it's been a constant struggle. The latch on the strap to go around the beds is flimsy and you don't dare tighten it. Eventually I would just forego the patch and I'd tie the straps together in a knot, but that unfortunately didn't prevent the straps from traveling around.The middle piece was exactly as another reviewer put it 'too dainty' to stand up to daily use and very quickly would sink down between the mattresses and become part of the problem. I don't know if they've fixed this since then, but it's a little cloth-covered tube that velcros into the main middle piece. It needs to be attached, because the velcro is not strong enough to keep it adhered.This is the only experience I've had with a bed bridge. I feel like the idea should work, but not this iteration of it, sadly.

We thought we were grown, upgrading our life. We went and got an adjustable bed that was actually a double. It was the worst decision we have ever made. We literally were falling in the gap. It literally saved my life now to do the adjusting we push the button on the remotes at the same time. However we fix that we went on Amazon and got the purple mattress topper it looks like an egg crate. Then we got the 3 inch mattress topper to go on top of that which is why that’s also here on Amazon. My bed now feels like heaven and I don’t want to get out of it. I can roll over and not feel any groves or anything and it stays in place because of the extra toppers that I have. I can be with my honey anyway I want to how I want to whenever I want to because of this little tiny device and I am so stoked please get this and end the double bed that nightmare. Unless you’re older and have no sex life and just a companion then don’t get it but if you need it get it .....good day sir or ma’am if you’re wondering why this review seems kind of splotchy it’s because I did voice dictation because I’m too lazy to type ...
