Charging Dock/Stand for Fossil Smartwatch Gen 6/5/5E/4 Garrett,Julianna Carlyle,Sport and for MK MKGO Runway with 5 Ft Cable

The Fossil Sport Smartwatch (gen 4) is not a cheap device, so I was worried when it failed to charge (after a few months of working fine). It makes sense that it's easier to keep a watch waterproof if there aren't any ports, so it's no surprise that the charge interconnect consists of concentric metal bands and a magnetic cable with spring loaded contact points. Did a wire break in the cable? Sure the watch would still be under warranty, but I wanted to see if the charging cable was faulty (rather than the watch itself). I came across this Fossil Gen 4 Charger,Replacement Wireless Charging Dock/Stand when looking for a Prime OEM replacement.First of all, this is a stand, unlike the OEM cable that the Fossil Sport came with. I kind of prefer the stand to the cable, as it makes the watch easier locate quickly. Obviously, that's really just a preference, so YMMV. As a stand, this device could really use a little weightier base. To be fair, the stand is stable, but it will tip without a large impact. If the purpose of getting the stand was to test the watch to see if IT was the failed component. Guess what? THE WATCH WORKED! Obviously this isn't exactly a statistically significant sample, but I do think it good diagnostic practice to isolate the easiest/cheapest variables first. Recommended.

I got a new Fossil Sport watch and like most other smartwatch purchases one of my first extra buys is a second charger. This charger was cheaper than the Fossil OEM one and was built into a stand so I was intrigued.The charger works perfectly and there hasn't been any issues charging up my watch at night. I keep it on my bedside table plugged into a USB port on the back of my alarm clock.One minor nitpick is that the stand is slightly wobbly. At first I felt like I was going to knock it over when putting my watch on to charge. Once I started trusting the magnet in the charger I realized I could just hover my watch over the stand and release and let the magnets pull it into place. All just as a heads up there is not power supply brick included. That's not a problem for me but I just wanted to point that out to folks who were deciding still. Any USB powerbrick will work though.

Seems built well. It works so far very for recharge. I've 2 of the small round magnetic disc style ones, that didn't last very long and would just stop working. So far, so good. I like the design of this product as well

I have been using this product for several months now, and purchased it along with another brand stand for my 2 Fossil watches. I was a little leery that the charging components were built-in (the other stand uses the original charging puck) along with some of the reviews showing damage to watch and/or stand. Because of this, I started testing using my cheaper Fossil Sport. The good news is no damage has occurred, however, the magnet on this stand is not strong enough to keep a good connection with the lighter sport watch. I would often pull the watch from the stand to find it was only partially charged, or sometimes even completely dead. It got worse as time went on, till I couldn't even get the charge indicator to come on without pressing down on the watch. I switched stands, so my sport is on a stand with my original charging puck, and my Carlyle 5 with a metal band is on this one. Haven't had any issues with the Carlyle not charging yet, and the Sport is doing fine on the other stand with the OEM charging puck.It's not as nice looking as the other stand, but it works and is stable enough that I don't have problems with it tipping over when adding or removing the watch from the stand

This works with two of my non samsung watches perfectly. It is very easy to use. Doesn't matter what style band you have on. I love the facts. You simply put the watch on it brother. The bands open their clothes, leather or metal. Deep magnetized prongers hold it on tightly and you got a quick steady charge?

The charging surface and the magnet that hold the watch aren't perfectly aligned, so you can hold the watch in a way the terminals match, but when you let go, the magnet pulls it off the charging terminals. Don't wast your time, it sucks.

The gen 4 Fossil watches come with awful chargers, and dealing with fossil to get it replaced under warranty is a nightmare.That said, this charger works, you put your watch on it and it charges. No holding it just right, no turning it until it works, you just put the watch on it.As for travel, it arrived the day before we went on a week long trip to TX. It worked in the car, in the shady hotel in Shreveport, at the nice hotel in TX, and it worked great back home.The factory charger was giving trouble within a few weeks, I have had this one for months with zero issues.

I previously had a competing brand for charging our fossil watch. However, we threw it in a suitcase and when we arrived at our destination, the charging plaform had broken off the base as the connection of the charging platform to the base was very thin and clearly the weakest part of the device. This product is 1 solid piece of plastic which eliminates the weak spot that the other charger had. Overall, i am Happy with the purchase. The charger does its job and is very durable.

Love my Fossil Carlyle Gen 5 but wasn't crazy about scratching the metal band. I was looking for a better charging option than lying the watch down on my end table resting on it's own metal band. This charging stand works perfectly. You could travel with it but I would use Fossil's included cable for trips. This is the perfect end table charger, magnetically holds it in place and it's easy to position your watch (even in the dark). It charges quickly if you attach it to a 5Amp plug but it works just as well for overnight charging on a basic 1Amp plug. Will be buying a second one to leave at the office.

Este cargador me interesó ya que mi reloj lo tengo que cargar a diario, y necesitaba algo bueno y practico.La calidad es muy buena, el magnetismo que tiene es muy fuerte, los pines de carga son largos, asi que no batallas por que hagan buen contacto con el reloj. Por fin ya no voy a batallar con el cargador original.

La encargué para mi tío que tiene un reloj inteligente fossil gen 5e y funcionó a la perfección, no se maltrata el reloj gracias a la base y carga la batería bien y le dura como debe (8 días aprox)Lo recomiendo totalmente ✅

It’s really cute and charges my watch very fast. It feels secure when it’s on thanks to the magnet. I wanted something by my bed and this does the trick. The cable is also decently long.
