Sony SBH80 Bluetooth Headset White

Great headset, great battery life, great sound, it;s not heavy, it's confortable to wear, discrete.

So I bought this headset as a second piece because I unfortunately lost the first one, which I really liked. This one came in and soon after it started showing problems. The battery dies at random times and the neckpiece gets really hot, plus the left earbud is noisy when wiggling the cable.The return window on Amazon is closed, so I go to Sony website for a warranty repair. There is a number to call for repairs, but if you call the number it sends you back to the website, and the website to the number again.TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED from a brand I have been trusting since I was a child.

Good sound quality and battery life. Looks great and very unobtrusive even with business or business casual wear. Call quality seems to vary from very good to very bad and I find that I have to hold up one side by the cord to get decent clarity. I had hoped it could pick up my voice with the two mics completely hands free but it gets far too much background noise that way.Great for running, music listening generally (especially for long plane rides), great for long conference calls with occasional speaking. Not great for long active calls due to the 'hold up one side' issue.

Sounded as a fantastic headphones but I hoped that they will work for more than a month before the right ear bug will stop working

These headphones sound very good and are very comfortable. They stopped working after 3 months. The right headphone stopped working. The reason I am writing the review is more toward the customer service of Sony. They made me ship the headphones in first and they have very specific instructions on how to ship it. The shipping cost me $20. I followed all their instructions. I then called Sony and asked for a refund on shipping and they said they don't do that. I could have requested a shipping label. It was way too late then. When they shipped the headphones back, they were in a bubble mailer. They didn't even send the headphones back in the original box I sent them in. This experience is keeping me from buying Sony products in the future.

Awesome unit. Works perfectly for years. Never thought of posting a review before, but I must say. Great sounding, easy to wear. Really perfect.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this headset. They are extremely light as advertised and pairing with my iPhone was a breeze. I really loved the way the controls were situated although it would take me a bit to remember which side did what. I hardly knew they were in my ears. I tuned in on my iPhone and that's where the love ended.The reviews I read boasted a deep rich base, mellow mid tones and just enough treble to balance it out. That was completely backwards. The treble prevailed and I heard no hint of bass. The sound quality was reminiscent of the radio in my first car. It was a 1960 ford falcon -listening to AM band. The sound literally hurt my ears.Noise canceling? Well if you had the volume up high enough to cancel any noise, say an air conditioner, I'm sure you'd end up with bleeding ears from the treble pin pricking in your eardrum.So as not to be completely unfair I did a comparison of the same song I was listening to with the 5 year old set I'm replacing and it was like night and day.Save yourself the return postage.

Bought this on impulse. I love the form factor and weight. Used so far for movies, treadmill and during kettlebell workouts. Stays in place not a distraction. Sound is good . Has noise cancellation feature which I like. Have not used on airplane as yet.They do look fragile but seems up to the task. Would definitely recommend.
