This was a good deal for me
This was a good deal for me. I put it in my Electric Drill and it worked great and charged like it was new. I was surprized to find a battery for it, becaus it is so old.

Received the battery order within a very respectful time line. The order was complete and the items were new as stated. Will always cater to suppliers who keep their word and are customer oriented. I like the attitude as they advertise and will cater to those who provide adequate respect to their customer. The Skil 92940 FlexCharge 3.6 Volt 1 Amp Hour Nicad Batter pack works like a charm.

Great if not overcharged
I've had a Skil driver for 8 years. These work well and recharge well for about 1 year or so before you need to replace. No protection from overcharge though, so if you over charge these, they are no good and should be properly disposed.

The right part for the right tool
This review is for the Skil 92940 FlexCharge 3.6 Volt 1.0-Amp Hour NiCad Battery. I've had my Skil drill and screw driver for more than a decade, but the four battery packs I got with them slowly died 1 by 1 until the tools became unuseable. Finally found these replacement battery packs on Amazon. The price was right and they work just as well as the originals by the same manufacturer. Try not to overcharge them as it tends to decrease battery life. I've heard the Skil charging stands are prone to this effect as they do not really have an automatic cutoff and the battery packs can be damaged by overcharging. I usually just let them charge for about 3 hours which seems to be sufficient without overdoing it.

About as useful as a rock...
...and holds a charge as well as one does too. Must be time to get a new cordless screwdriver as the last 2 Skil replacement power packs that i got lasted about a week. Well actually this one lasts about about 0-30 seconds after a full 2-3 day charge. It spins pretty good for about the first 10 seconds then slows to a crawl pretty quickly just before it pukes. I guess Sanyo doesn't make cells like they used to. Junk. Avoid.

Lasts a long time
This is a re-order battery for my cordless screwdriver, which is five years old. Original battery just now began to not hold a charge for longer than a day...this is pretty good performance to me as I use this tool a lot. I do drain the battery all the way, though...which is easier to do with two battery packs. Believe this has a lot to do with longevity.

Look for aftermarket batteries.
The problem customers are having with these batteries is that they don't make them anymore. They have been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse for years, then discounted and sold to an Amazon seller. They are NiCad batteries and no good tools use NiCad anymore. Everything is lithium ion.I purchased a couple after market batteries for my Flexi-Charge screwdriver. They actually were longer and had more ampacity. Unfortunately the stick on label of the manufacturer made the battery to large to fit in my screwdriver. After a couple frustrating hours removing the very sticky labels and adhesive completely, they did fit in the screw driver. For those that claim the flexi-charge battery chargers are cheaply made, they can also be cheaply bought on eBay, as most everybody has thrown there Skil Flexi-Charge batteries and the tools (they couldn't get batteries for) away.

It may be a faulty charger.
I purchased this as a replacement battery for a Skil cordless screwdriver. I thought the original battery would no longer hold a charge. However, it turned out the charging unit had failed. I've since read reviews of the charging unit itself and found others with the same problem.
