Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has had food sensitivities all his life, so we were skeptical about trying these treats. In fact, we got our promotional bag months ago and waiting until the bag is almost all gone before writing this review to make sure that we could say with certainty that he has NO trouble at all digesting these treats. He also actually CHEWS these treats!!! Most other treats this size just get swallowed, but not these. He LOVES the crunch! These are such a great value, are great for obedience training (if you care about that sort of thing), and are a perfect companion to his Natural Balance meals. Don't take our word for it, though. He wants to show you just how obediently he's willing to wait for a chance to crunch these tasty K9 Fat Free Dog Treats!

I am giving them a 5 star review, but because my dogs are spoiled they will turn their nose up when I try to give it to them as a treat. However, if I am not looking they gobble them up. My dogs are overweight (not by much) but enough so that the Vet recommended I slow down on the goodies for them. I think eventually as I run out of what I was giving them, they will realize that's the only treat they will get they and will be more cooperative and will enjoy eating them. I am sure that the Vet will be happy to see thast they have lost weight. I would certainly recommend them to anyone with overweight dogs who enjoy a treat for good behavior.

I'm disappointed with my last order of these treats. The heart shape has been made bigger, but a lot flatter, and the taste must have changed, because my two dog who have been loving them, now don't really like them. They really enjoyed the puffy little heart shapes you had before. The bag also is more costly and isn't as big.This is in addition to the review I listed above. I have attached pictures of the broken pieces that are in the bag I purchased in March 2017. The package is almost full of all broken pieces. I ordered these again after my first review about 3 more times. but each time they arrived in worse shape. I don't know what this manufacturer did or why to cram so many treats in a bag that is too small. I am returning this bag and will never order these again!

I thought these would be the ticket for our overweight Puggle, but he tried one and spit it out. Now, this little guy is no gourmet, just a little choosy. So, thought I'd treat my friend, the neighbor Rott/Lab who eats everything...but not these! Even the cute heart shape didn't help. :) I ordered 2 bags and will send them to the Humane Society Thrift Store. Some dog will like them, right?

I purchased these to use at our pet vaccination clinic. I've found that most dogs like them, and those that do almost always "ask" for another. I have two dogs of my own, one who will eat these and one-- the picky eater --who won't. Regardless, I really like the fact that you get a ton of treats, the ingredient list is short, and they are made in 'Merica.

How can a dog treat that clearly states on the front that it is fat free and repeats that in the description then say in the nutritional facts say max crude fat at 3.89%? I got this for my dog because it said fat free. She has had pancreatitis twice and I need a fat free snack or super low fat. I am seriously upset that I bought this "fat free" product. I guess in order to give them to her I will have to get a hammer and break them down to crumbs size to make up the difference in the fat content.

My two dachshund love these fat free treats.I discovered them a couple of years ago when one of my 'kids' came down with pancreatitis. This condition requires minimal fat in the diet and most treats on the market are full of fat.If you know dachshunds you know they love their treats, and when we could no longer reward them they became noticeably depressed. Thank goodness I discovered K-9 Fat Free Treats... my dogs actually love them better then off the shelf snacks, and I love them because I know they are made with all natural ingredients.

One dog likes them, the other one won't eat them. Oh well, I have a picky rescued Chihuahua.
