Best Strat-alike out there, but don't tell everyone!
Got this guitar about 2 months ago now and I can't stop playing. I have never owned a Strat (a Fender Nashville Power Deluxe Telecaster is as close as I have gotten...) but always loved the sound, so I decided that this was a worthwhile price to enter that market. WOW am I happy I made that choice!!! ESP/LTD has really outdone themselves in terms of quality and price for this. I have played many Strats in my search for the right one, all the way from Squier to American Series Fender Strats, and this competes right with the Fender Mexican Strats at a much better price. The neck is smooth and fast, frets dressed properly, and the pickups sound great. I am continually impressed that I got this guitar for so cheap, because I feel like I should have paid much more (no complaints, though). I now sound much more convincing when playing blues on this guitar, and I love the tone and feel. Given the chance, I'd buy another tomorrow!

Best Relic for the price!
I just picked one of these up. I have to say the Import Guitars are getting better and better. This is the new LTD/ESP - ST-203 Strat. This Guitar just feels and sounds Great. The Big difference between this and a F Guitar is the Hardware and Plastic on the LTD all looks new - Which is just fine with me. Also the rosewood fretboard is not reliced at all - just the back of the neck shows wear - but not gritty. Another great factor is its cost - About 1 Third of the F Guitar Price. These are defiantly worth checking out. The price of these relices are very affordable - So if you would like to jump over to the Relic side - This guitar might be a great choice. Or I guess you can save up and buy a Nash - their very nice too.

unbelievable quality sound and playabity
I own American Standard strat and a custon build. I hate to say it but this plays and sounds better. The stock pickups are vintage hot and give the great strat quack. The also ooze pinch harmonics. The neck is flawless. I added a tremsetter, locking tuners and a tusk nut. No need to swap electronics at all. I cant believe for the price this shames my expensive strats. It also has the jeff beck heel cutaway.

All the Fender sounds you will ever need
I agree with the first reviewer. Unbelievable how good these imports have become. China copies everything to perfection. The neck has a great feel the body/neck have a nice relic finish and the pick ups sound very much like original fender and are very bluesy/country rock with more output level the my SRV pickups. There is also the st203fr black relic with floyd rose fyi. If you want to kick it up a notch look at the ESP Vintage plus series those are pro level.
