12 year old son bought this
My 12 year old son bought this kit. It is super complicated. I've had to help him with every step. Some of the parts are so hard to put together that they broke my fingernails. We put one piece in the wrong place and are ordering another kit. My son bought the first one with his own money so I am buying him a new one to try again. Wish us luck!

Fun, challenging puzzle
This is a fun and very challenging puzzle. The instructions are fair. There are good photos but I wish they included a little more information for the difficult parts. You have to be very careful that you don't break the pieces when you pop them out. I really wish they would have included a few rubber bands as I broke one when I assembled it. (luckily I had a spare one sitting around to use.) If you like doing lego kits this is similar to that but much more challenging. We haven't quite finished it as there are a lot of steps. I am doing this with my 11 year old who is a bit overwhelmed by it. Overall its good quality and will be a fun puzzle for us to do together.

Be Careful
Be careful pushing out and assembling pieces. One wrong move renders the whole model useless. Luckily, we only had one piece break at the end. It was the hub of the tire, so we were able to rig it with a toothpick. Not really a project for children. I was able to work with my 10 yr old after explaining how delicate the pieces were and working together where I punched out the pieces and he assembled and I then secured the assembly. In other words - he lined up the pieces and I manipulated them into place. You will need to sand the toothpicks. The printed instructions are confusing. The video helped but a couple of steps were not presented in the same order as the instruction booklet. Take your time and it will be a worthwhile project.

Bad materials and dangerous
The overall model looks alright, but the materials are terrible and the cutting is very poor. The plywood shreds (splinters anyone?) and fragments. I would also highly recommend an eye safety warning. When you clip the" toothpicks" ( really, toothpicks?) they tend to shoot off in random directions. ROKR is far better in every way.

Flimsy build
The locking concept relies on toothpicks holding it together, but some holes were too big that the toothpick would just fall out.
