A good deal for the price. The battery works, and so far as I can tell the charger does too. I haven't used it much yet so I will update if there is an issue. I mostly purchased this for the tripod and the spare battery. The tripod is a bit flimsy but works well enough for the small camera. It's motion is not particularly smooth when repointing the camera, but is steady enough when locked down. It's decent enough for a bundle costing this little. If you want a high quality tripod you will be spending more.To screw the tripod into your camera there is a wedge that detaches from the tripod and under that wedge is a small handle to screw it in with. The part of the handle that you grip pivots back and forth and the recess it sits in is too small for my fingers to fit into to grap the handle when it is lying flat. I have to get a key or a stick to reach in an flip the handle up so I can grab it. It's not really a problem, but it is an annoyance. That and the general flimsiness of the tripod is the reason I am giving four stars instead of five, It's actually better than I expected for the price.

It's not a bad kit and you can't really beat the price. I was really only wanting a bag and an extra battery but at this cost, you get that and some extras. To be honest, the "mini-tripod" is next to useless (It's almost comical). You could set your camera on a book and get the same results. Now, the 50" tripod is exactly that. It's amazingly small and compact but does the job. It is super light and thin which worried me at first however it does work pretty good. The HDMI/micro cable works well as does the travel charger. The bag is also compact but it does have 2 side pouches as well. I had the bag packed to the gills with cables, chargers, batteries, memory cards etc. and the zipper on one of the pouches broke but that was on me for cramming more than the maximum capacity of the pouch I'm assuming.Is it an all encompassing kit for the Sony HDR camera? Not at all.Is it a decent kit for a video enthusiast or hobbyist? Yes.Everything separately would be at least $45-$50. So for the money, I think it's worth it.(I just need to find a clever use for that mini-tripod.)

Bought for my dad for Father's Day b/c my parents were going to Belgium & I knew he would need a universal plug. This kit is pretty amazing for the price. My dad needed a case for his camera plus the different plugs like I wrote above, so that's why I bought it. But, the kit also has an extra battery, a rapid travel charger, a tripod & a mini tripod. Obviously, on vacation my dad was thrilled with not only the case & uni versal plugs, but, the rapid charger & extra battery were very useful. Also, he said the mini tripod was helpful b/c his hand shakes some times & this helps him rest the camera on something w/ out scratching it & he can focus the camera & get a steady picture. He LOVES the case. Everything fits inside including extra battery & 2 cables but it's mot bulky. The kit also comes w/ an HDMI to micro USB cable I believe & also a lens cleaning cloth. My dad opened the box so don't wuote me (read the description). It was a fabulous deal & my dad is very satisfied!

The battery worked perfectly which was the most important thing for me. I had previously purchased a set of batteries that were advertised to work with my camera model but didn't and of course I found out the hard way at a wedding when I switched out my old battery for the new one. I also found that the tripod fit perfectly in my camera bag so I didn't have to carry my larger tripod on a recent trip.Thanks, Gene

I liked it. The case is big and I could put not only the acessories included but also my camcorder and its own acessories. Only the tripod won't fit (it's big), but it comes with a handy bag. I tested all acessories and they worked. The wall charger and extra battery (that comes with a tiny case that's helpful) are absolutely necessary to use the camera for a full day. The tripod has a pretty decent quality and it stays steady.My only complain is that the case could be waterproof, to protect the camera against rain or any accident with water.

The Accessories Bundle Kit for our Sony HDR-CX240 was purchased before our first cruise to Alaska. We used it a couple of times prior to the cruise and if we made any mistake we should have used it more around home before the cruise. When we zoom in we didn't know we should have done it a lot slower than we did to omit focusing problems. Everything in the Kit fit our camera and our camera and extra equipment fits perfectly in the carrying case. Extremely pleased with our purchase.

For the money, this is a great deal! You pay this much for a battery by itself. the components provided are useful and needed for a complete experience with this camcorder. the only exception is the extra USB cord provided. That comes with the camera. Never hurts to have two I suppose. A must buy if you have the Sony HDR-CX240!

The cable comes with the camera.At this time (Aug 2014) the memory chip and battery may be purchased separately and at better pricing.Neither of these two tripods are anything I will ever use.The larger case is of some value to keep supplies together at home/office whereas the Sony LCSU5 Soft Case is better for travel.

While the order shipment wasn't quick... it arrived on the last day promised... the accessories are great quality. Battery is o.e.m. and the charger quite versatile. The mini tripod works well and doubles as a stick; since the Sony Actioncam is so small it requires one if off its helmet mount etc. The hdmi cable works fine (and really required). The larger tripod is ok... abit fragile... but for the price it exceeded my expectaction. Everything fits nicely into the included bag, which is great quality! Another reviewer took exception to its poor quality but I have to disagree! All these accessories are brand name, but I couldn't find them all at my local stores; so ordering them all here was super convienant.

For the price this accessories kit is wonderful, more than what we expected it to be, very sturdy, and did not expect a new battery with it, so yes a big thumbs up thankyou xxx

The camera bag has cheap plastic strap connectors and it broke upon first use. It was not mishandled by me; it is simply cheap. So now I have a case without a strap and is therefore useless for travel. I have not used the remaining products yet so have no comments on them.
