I was worried this would come with the molding clay for his “feet”, as some people’s came with it, and some came with a rubber plastic type with pre cut slits to stick his popsicles stick feet in,so you didnt have to worry about letting clay dry. As little ones want to play with it right away and it falls apart and even after the clay drys it can fall apart. I was VERY happy to see it came without the molding clay. I think the company revised that feature and also seen the error in the molding clay. . Yes it makes forky more realistic in looks but not durable for play. so if that’s your worry I wouldn’t worry to much I think you’ll be fine to order and not get the clay. I like the rubbery/ hard plastic (I say rubbery because it has a bit of a rubbery feel to the outside of it to make it feel more like clay but it’s hard and durable like plastic if that makes sense) it comes with sticky like glue on the eyes but I knew they would not stay on for long so I put a dab of hot glue on forkeys eye sockets and let my little one put the googley eyes on the glue and press down, it makes it more secure and we know it won’t fall off. Also I put a dab of hot glue on forkeys stem where his “arms” (red pipe cleaners) go and let my little one wrap it around the glue and let her press is down with a spare popsicle stick to secure it in place to make sure his arms don’t go anywhere either. The feet are really snug in the precut sockets so there was no need for glue there the wax eyebrows and mouth we did also but a small amount of glue that took some finessing and very little almost cooled down glue as to not melt the wax but we got it. Otherwise they for sure do not stay on. Overall I am very happy with the project and so is my little one. I by the way as you can tell did decide to ditch the glue they give you as I found it to be cheap glue that I didn’t think would work well for long term. My little is not rough on toys and she takes good care of them so they last a long time for her. I know some kids aren’t so it doesn’t matter if the toy doesn’t last a long time but I knew if we built this to last for her it would last. All the materials are of really good quality just the glue and such to keep it together was not so I made it better for lasting with other things.

There is obviously an updated version (which I have received) and an old version that comes with clay for his feet to attach instead of the plastic inset you get which was the one big complaint before. So just so everyone knows, you'll get the newer plastic one! It was really easy to put together, easy enough for my four-year-old to do practically by herself, we even wrote her name on the bottom how Bonnie did. (Remember, she broke her name up on both sticks) we just wrote on one but it's cute either way, just was hard to fit. I mostly wanted to leave a review to give my tip on gluing forkies legs into the plastic fake clay part. Our daughter wanted to cuddle him, play with him, everything, just like Bonnie. So the legs kept falling out and ruining the moment so we glued it with Elmer's (I told my hubby it wouldn't work) it held for one day. Then I, the ever so smart wife, used super glue, and it has stayed since! The rest of the kit was updated as someone complained you have to have a green pom for bunnies belly but it's already colored in how the pictures show the new kit. We actually only made forky and the buzz paper thing, we're saving bunny and ducky for another craft time so I can't speak on how easy those are but it looks fun. Daughter definitely loves her forky and this is waaaaay better than those cheapo kits you'll see around if you search for a forky kit. So basically, ignore the old reviews, they fixed everything from that old kit, they really need to remove the old pictures then!

What a great little art project to do with my son. I even had a friend see the final Forky figure we made and he thought it was purchased like that!! The items are good quality, and even includes extra stickers, art items, and pom-pom characters to make!!! My son has his Forky sitting at his desk when he is on his laptop for school (due to Kindergarten being virtual due to Covid). Happy with the purchase, and had a good time making it!!! The instructions were so simple, it made it hard to follow as some parts because it left out a lot of steps... but we kind of figured it out and made it work. :)

Easy& Fun to make with my 3 yr old granddaughter and she just Loves Forky from Toy Story 4. , but his feet keep coming off , I highly recommend crazy glue the feet in and this will make for a better experience for both the child & the parents

I first thought this kit was silly because we have all of these things around the house and would just need to gather them and make the thing. That's what I said three years ago when my daughter requested that we make our own Forky. She was 4. She's now 7 and it still hasn't happened . I decided it was worth it to buy the kit and go that route before she is completely over Toy Story. This is great if you have difficulty getting organized for a craft project or are always missing one thing that makes every project un- finish-able. This is honestly what I needed to make it happen and it took us all of ten minutes to make all the characters and get to playing with them. It's worth it and a fun project and activity to do together.

After watching Toy Story 4 my stepson was obsessed with making a Forky of his own. Funny enough I came across this product right before Christmas. Very convenient Amazon. Product arrived as advertised, no missing pieces or any major problems. My only complaint is the putty used to mold Forky's feet on to the spork body. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's absolute garbage. We set Forky up to dry and when it was about halfway dry (after more than a day) Forky fell out of his feet. The putty was already too far gone to mold back around him, as it does start to crack while it's drying. I'd highly suggest going to a craft store and buying a different kind of putty/clay to use for the kit if you want Forky to really last. It also takes forever for the clay to dry, again when ours fell it was only about halfway dry, and it had been more than a day, so if your kids are really looking to play with Forky immediately, maybe save this step for when they go to bed. Otherwise be prepared to instill some patience lessons in the kids while Forky's feet dry. It's possible if you really monitor the drying process, you can keep Forky in his feet using the clay provided, but I should have just gone & gotten a better clay/putty/moldable stuff for the kit. The other parts of the kit are great, though if your kids are younger they may not really know what to do with all the extra bits & bobbles to "make your own" characters. Also, don't expect this to be an "hours of fun" type activity. Our 5 year old was done in about 30 minutes with everything he wanted to do. It's possible you could get more out of the extra bits and create a lot of different "friends", but you will need other items to supplement what they provide for kids to actually make anything they'd be interested in. All & all this was a great little "art" imagination kit for younger kids. I'd buy again, I'd just like it if a few things were tweaked a little.

My son and daughter (2&5) both loved this craft set. There were four things to make and of differing difficulty levels. The glue wasn't great in attaching the eyes etc to the poms poms but overall it was a great set.

This is a fairly large sized Forky and he is so fun to put together! My 3 year old had a blast but it would be fun for older kids too! I found the feet kept falling out and gluing them in never seemed to hold to the rubbery base. A great kit for your Toy Story 4 lover!

What arrived doesn’t look anything like it does in the description. Items all present so son is happy but doesn’t look as exciting.
