Stone Spray-N-Seal is a water-based penetrating sealer that protects natural stone surfaces from staining. It is wonderful for stone countertops, floors, walls, vanities and even grout. This below surface sealer is also ideal for sealing all types of masonry, stucco, concrete and sanded grout. It has a special blend of polymers that bond to the stone and creates a water and oil repellent membrane to prevent staining, yet it allows the stone to breathe and release moisture vapors. It is safe for interior and exterior use and is UL Classified for slip resistance.

Look no further! This is the granite sealer you are looking for!
I am sold on this product! We had new lighter-color granite counter tops installed as part of a kitchen remodel. The installers had spritzed on something they said was sealer, but it looked more like cleaner to me, just sprayed on and wiped off. We let everything sit for a day, but within a few minutes after making coffee I could see darkening where some water dribbled. I immediately started looking for a "real" sealer. After reading reviews of many products (gotta love Amazon!), this one seemed like an effective sealer that did not seem too difficult to apply.Although the directions do not specifiy a curing time, other products suggest 24 hours so I applied the sealer just before we went out of town for a few days ago. When we got back yesterday, I poured small pools of water a few inches in diameter in locations that had shown darkening before. After letting it stand for several minutes, and...nothing happened! The water pooled and just sat there. No darkening whatsoever! This evening I tried an even more extreme test. About 3 weeks ago an olive oil mister leaked and instantly produced a large oil stain. Fortunately, it seems to have dissipated, but that was the event that put me on the search for a good sealer. It was behind the cooktop and inconspicuous anyway, so for my test I placed a drop of olive oil about a half inch in diameter back there to see what would happen. After 15 minutes I wiped it up, and there was no indication whatsoever that the oil had been there! The trick to products like this is to follow the directions. You spray it on evenly, keep the surface wet for 30 minutes to let the product soak in (by re-spraying as needed), then wiping off excess material and wiping/rubbing until the surface is dry and streak free. This will require a bit of elbow grease at the end. Keep an eye out for streaks and rub them out right away. If they dry to much you will need to spray on a spritz of sealer and rub it out.For best results it is best to keep the surface evenly wet during the half hour soaking period, not saturated, just not dry. Here is a tip that worked for me. I sprayed it on, just spritzing a few times in an area about 2 feet by 2 feet, then kind of smeared it around with a folded paper towel until evenly wet. Then I treated an adjacent area the same way, making sure to keep everything just wet but not puddling. I continued doing this over all of our granite. This is not huge area, just under 70 square feet. By the time I finished the whole thing it was time to start over. In fact, the first time around I had to go back to the beginning about half way through because I could see the material starting to dry. After one pass all the way through it seemed like enough sealer had soaked in that new applications were staying wet longer so it was easy to keep up. Anyway, after getting into a rhythm of spritzing and smearing the half hour passed quickly, I wiped the excess and rubbed out threatening streaks. The end result is a beautiful, streak-free, SEALED granite surface that lets the original gloss of the polished stone shine through unchanged.

The product was easy to apply and created an effective seal to protect my granite counter tops. You basically spray it on, wipe, let it dry, wipe again, and spray small amounts and wipe if there are any streaks.

works great
Worked great on a cheap bathroom vanity top I purchased at Lowes. It was getting water spots every time the kids used it. After two applications of SCI stone spray no more water spots.

Works fine. Used on stone floor tile. Easy to apply. Did not change look of the medallion which had various types of stone in it. Just need to wipe puddles before they dry.

Grout sealer +
Used it to seal grout around a shower stall. So so easy and works great. Will try it on counter tops, too.
