Good drill bit
It’s much longer than the kreg. It cuts well, seems to fit just fine, but it’s much longer, I didn’t measure but has to be a few inches.

More than I expected
Picture shows only the bit, but the package included the depth stop collar and the hex wrench too. If I would know that, I'd order more than one. The quality of that tool is such, that you'll need more than one, if you do a lot of drilling. But the price of the product at Amazon is far more better than in the stores.

I love the Porter Cable pocket hole jig that this be is for. My question to PC would be why have an adjustable bit collar on a bit that no matter what size of lumber you are using is always going to be set in the same place? Other than that, it's a must have.

Made in China - but Works as expected
Not a hex shank bit as someone else already commented - drill made in China - and the stop collar is a bit crude - but the combination works as expected

Yes there are cheaper jigs to make pocket holes but Porter Cable has thought through their jij it is faster and easier to set up than the completion. This 3?8 bit is longer than others and last about the same time but it is a quality bit..

Great for the Porter Cable pocket hole jig, last long time
I use the Porter Cable pocket hole device every day on cabinets and it has gotten a workout. It's so much better than the Kreg system because it automatically adjusts for any size of wood without messing with screws, spacer blocks, etc. like Kreg. These bits have lasted me much better than others I've bought.
