Had a lovely time building this with my granddaughter however in the last few steps, parts were missing so we were unable to complete it - very disappointing! But the seller did send the missing parts so we will complete on our next visit!

Awsome kit. Some of the screws are very tricky to get in and I had to help my 8-year old with some of them. No way he could have done it himself. That’s why it only got 4 stars.But that was a plus in the end because we spent more time together and that’s priceless.He loved building it and it looks great when it’s finished.

I have ordered 3 of these ferris wheel kits, Great addition to a model steam engine. They make GREAT gifts for any one that likes to build....

We bought this for our very mechanically-minded 5 year old, seeing that it was for 6+ and one of the very first kits in the Eitech series. He was most definitely not able to do it on his own, not because of the diagrams, which were thorough, but because of the sheer difficulty for even my husband to screw the parts together. It is very small, about twice the size of a Matchbox cars, but that didn't bother my son, who loved it once he and his dad got it put together. I think we would buy more kits in the future, but it was disappointing that there wasn't much that our child could do to help put it together, even though he had the skills to figure it out.

Purchased for 9yo to match room decor. She gave up trying to put it together. It requires a wrench to hold the nut on one side while screwing the other side. I ended up putting it together and it looks way more complicated than it is. Directions (pictures only) are not the best but okay for I'd say a tween or older. Some screws will need to re-loosen during assembly for adjustments and balancing. Once assembled it's a nice piece.

This item arrived poorly packaged so the sound of small metal pieces jingling in the box was disturbing. We had to order a replacement train to complete the project (we returned whatever we didn't need for a refund). This was the second time my 8 year old son has built a toy from this company and he was able to follow the instructions and build it independently. He enjoyed the building process immensely as he was able to use the wrenches and screwdrivers that were included to manipulate nuts, bolts, and washers. He would give it a 5 rating. I lowered the rating based upon the poor packaging, the steep price ($40), and the fact that the wheels don't rotate once assembled.

We bought this for our 15 year old daughter because she loves to build things with metal. She absolutely loved building the Ferris wheel with enough challenges for her that it wasn't to easy. The parts were high quality and they were all there. She was excited that it was able to go around when she was done. However, when she finished it and turned it on it was great until the gears slip apart and the wheel falls down. The carriages also get stuck on each other when it goes around so it's not real smooth when it turns. She has turned these issues into challenges to fix. Overall, she loves it and we would buy another product like this and recommend this product to purchase.

Cool little model similar to meccano came with some pretty nice tools, not just cheap hex key and pressed out wrench. Finished model looks good and was quick and east to build.A welcome addition to my model motorcycle collection.

ES un set muy completo que me llego antes de lo esperado, trae muchísimas piezas y sin problemas compite con Meccano que por mi área es mucho mas conocido.Las medidas de piezas las podríamos de hecho considerar muy compatibles. pues los ojales para los tornillos son del mismo tamaño en las 2 marcas.Un punto a considerar es que los tonillos en mecano se arman con llave Allen mientras que en Eitech usan cabeza Phillips y plana.También deben saber que los tornillos son de cuerda fina pero de diferente medida, por lo que las tuercas no serán compatibles.

when buying this Set thought I had the 1470 pieces to assemble both models.Unfortunately it is either one or the other, not both of them together. Assembly rather difficult in my view, so too much assembly of parts in some views, which cause confusion with assembly/disassembly.On certain assemblages, it is necessary to have tiny fingers to put the nuts or screws!! Please provide long nose pliers and magnets. Some small modification to be expected in relation to the plans, because some nuts or screws come into contact with other nuts or screws. it's achievable, but rather boring too!!i managed to get to the end of the assembly for the bulldozer model and it is rather good.I haven't tried the excavator yet. I hesitate to disassemble the excavator or buy a second box but given the difficulty I have had in making this , I would hesitate to do it.
