Why did you pick this product vs others?:For reading my books it's faulty and I threw it in the dumpster

Shines light where you need it if used on top of the page. Using it behind the page shows both sides of page and diff to read. Prob good that way if you need a light for tracing.

It works great as a book light. Bright enough to read by. But.... it feels super cheap. The clear part was super scratched up when I got it. Its also smaller than what I imagined. It doesn't really fit a hardcover book page too well. I have to hold it and move it while reading because there are 3 spotlights and they make a glare. Also the edge doesn't reach the inside spine and has a glare there as well so you have to move it around to see.

got it as a christmas gift for my dad and he loved it! rests good in the open book and provides great reading light. depends on book size but fits well.

I did not know that I had to buy batteries for it lol but it takes triple A. Now when I randomly wake up at night I can read a little before I go back to sleep and not turn on a big bright light.

My daughter loves to read and this light was perfect for her because she can now read any time she wants. Of course It’s easy to use, the brightness is perfect and the battery life is good.

brightness is WAY too much. The box says that it will “light the page, not the room”, but it does in fact, light up the entire room. It’s way too bright to read comfortably in a dark bedroom. The acrylic came out of the sleeve already marked up and scratches in places. I though I could clean it up with some non-abrasive eyeglass wipes but that made it worse. This thing is awful, don’t waste your money.
