StilGut UltraSlim Genuine Leather Case for Nokia Lumia 1020, Old Style Ocean Blue

Just received this beautiful leather case for my Lumia 1020 in the mail this morning and it has almost everything I was looking for... functionality that encased in genuine textured leather with a touch of class. There was no magnetic clasp which tends to interfere with my compass app resulting in distorted readings. However, upon closer handling, I noticed that the two thin leather hinges at the bottom of the flap are rather flimsy and may not withstand the constant opening of the flap. And if broken, the beautiful cover will be made ineffective. A close-up of the hinges in pictures (none available) would have helped me to make an informed choice.

This is a very attractive, quality leather case that fits my Lumia 1020 perfectly. The navy case with white stitching gives the 1020 a very elegant look which I like occasionally -adjusting the theme color appropriately, of course. The only issues I had with it, originally, were that the cover doesn't open back flat, and that the band on the bottom partially blocks the speaker. I came to like that the non-fully-opened cover works to prop the 1020 some. If it wasn't that the 1020's speaker is as LOUD as it (still) is, I still may have returned the case; but, I'm glad I chose to ignore this minor matter and kept this fine case.

The product got here in great time and overall the look is great too BUT when I got the product there were already 4-5 major scuffs on it. The leather is real easy to mark, i understand that but I would have liked to be the first one to have made marks on it :-/ still a great case and does its job well.

This is a nice case that protects the glass so no need for a screen protector. Front cover can hang down when open or fold around to the rear. tab holds front cover closed but not too tight and easy to open. I had a Otter Box and the buttons were too hard to press. With the StilGut the buttons are exposed. No protection from water but that's ok with me. Nice that keys in your pocket wont scratch the phone up. I just ordered a second for my wifes iphone.

This cover is nice, although nearly as slick as the phone case. And, some of the color has begun wearing off the leather. Otherwise, I'm satisfied. It offers adequate protection, and once used for awhile becomes easier to hold. It fits the phone well.

I purchased this on December 12, 2014 after researching cases for my Lumia 1020. I could have easily purchased a plastic or rubber case for so much less than what I paid for this but I wanted something stylish and (what I thought would be) long-lasting. I really believed this case was exactly what I was looking for.Five months later it began falling apart. First the leather on the non-button side of the phone began peeling away followed by the plastic breaking underneath. Now a month later the opposite corner's plastic cracked off after the leather peeled away and both pieces that hold the phone on the button side are broke -- that is what was holding the phone in the case! Now I have buyer's remorse and wish I would have just forked five or six bucks for a rubber case. Right now I have "Macgyver(ed)" the case just to keep it protected until I find its replacement.Stil Gut...not really Good Style.

This case is pure quality. I ordered the black version and it has a great full-grain texture and nicely contrasting stitching. The cover is nicely padded (not overly fat) and the case protects the phone corners very well. The case opens down so it never blocks the camera lens. When open the cover provides an extended handle when holding the phone in one hand and when holding the phone sideways as a camera. Nicely done!

This case really is an incredible accessory. It's well made, has a very charming appearance, and feels great to the touch. The way it opens vertically is unusual, but it reminds me of the notebooks used by reporters before the debut of the cell phone and the laptop. It has a very charming almost vintage style to it, and it's a great conversation starter. It also fits the phone perfectly.

This is a superb case and I cannot fault it. I have a StilGut leather case for my iPhone 5s and have been delighted with it, and this case is just as good. It fits Nokia Lumia like a glove and feels like quality in the hand. I would absolutely recommend this case to anyone, it really is worth the money.

I was wary of the price but given that its protecting a £550 phone i thought it worth the investment.The case is very well made, great quality and fits the phone perfectly without adding too much bulk. Exactly what i was looking for. I would definitely buy this again.

This is my third Stilgut purchase. Perfect fit and great protection for phone. Is very high quality too.

Very good quality cover worth the money. Also doesn't interfere with the workings of the phone. I'd recommend it to protect Lumia phone
