Seiko Chronograph White Dial Stainless Steel Brown Leather Mens Watch SSB095

I like Seiko watches and when I saw this I thought it was very attractive, when I received it it blew me away not only was it more beautiful than pictured, it is bigger, a little chunkier and heavier face then I expected but was hoping it would be this way. The bright white face with blue hands are easy to read, the lume on the hands and hour markers are solid and last a while after a good "charge". I read other reviews before purchasing and the only complaint was the band, but honestly I really like the band it comes with, a classy thick high quality alligator leather strap that is comfortable and makes the watch a little more elegant. However, i did purchase a blue canvas strap as well that matches the color of the hands perfectly and gives the watch a more rugged casual look. So this watch is beautiful, well made and can be booth elegant or rugged. Great watch for the price, heck of a value.

Dependable and easy to read (black hands on white face). Reasonable price. I have contemplated getting the same watch in reverse (white hands on black face).I was pleasantly surprised that the "ship it to Germany" (where I live) actually worked. The customs and taxes included in the price were correct and I did not have to go to the customs' office to pick it up. It was delivered directly to my house. When I got a watch several years ago through Amazon and had it shipped to Germany, the "deliver to Germany" option did not exist and I had to pick it up at the customs' office and pay an additional fee. I am glad Amazon has changed their policy to include this option.

Update: two months later, crystal broke somehowAmazing watch, some say quartz watches have no soul, but this watch has plenty of character! I enjoy larger face watches, as I think I have a slightly larger wrist. I commonly wear larger Seiko fives, and this watch is excellent. I've been looking for a white-faced say go for a little while, as well as a chronograph in this checks both boxes! The timer function is great, with a very sophisticated looking reset function. I replaced the band which seemed of adequate quality, with a few other bands purchased online. This navy blue Barton band is easy to install and looks amazing with the blue accents on the watch.

Classy looking watch that strikes a nice balance between dress and casual. Interesting details like the hands that flash an intense blue under certain lighting conditions. Watch is larger in diameter than I was expecting, and at first seemed too big. I have quickly become comfortable with the size, however. Amazing accuracy so far...I set the watch to an atomic clock the first day I had the watch, and after a couple of weeks, the watch continues to be within two seconds of the atomic clock. I love that the watch is an expensive looking, highly accurate timepiece that doesn't stray into being gaudy. Oh, and the stopwatch is mechanical, moving in 1/5 second intervals, and on reset is a true flyback movement! This means that unlike a quartz watch that will slowly rotate in a clockwise direction all the way back to 12:00, this stopwatch instantly snaps back to the 12:00 position. If the hand has stopped at something les than the 6:00 position, it will snap back in reverse, and if past the 6:00 position it will snap back in a clockwise direction.

Beautiful piece. Can’t understand why the negative comments on the leather strap. Really feels comfy and accents the watch perfectly. Like another reviewer said, the white dial looks bigger than a 42-46. But I like the bigger watches myself. But it’s not obnoxiously big. It’s perfect size. Seiko hit a home run with this chronograph. Buy it ! Buy it ! Buy it ! You won’t be disappointed.

Handsome watch...just too big. Nearly as wide as my wrist...looks awkward.

Beautiful watch. Runs well so far. The strap is absolutely terrible though. I put it on a bracelet from MiLTAT and I’m already getting compliments about it. Simple, affordable, elegant. Great for casual and formal wear.

Love the vk63 meca-quartz movement & this one is inside a Seiko - no need to gamble on a microbrand. My own fault, I had the specs before buying, but frankly, once on wrist, this case is far, far too large (44.9 mm) for this style of chronograph. I had hoped it would wear smaller. Take a second to process that - 45 mm. Gigantic, with the consequence that while I'm happy to hang onto it in order to have the vk63 in my collection, it really should be reserved for folks with an 8.5-inch+ wrist.
