You should vacuum the lines on any system, even if they advertise that you don’t have to. That’s just a gimmick. your system will work five times better than if you don’t, and it will last a lot longer also. you can buy a cheap vacuum pump with gauges here on Amazon for less than $100, it’s easy peasy to do. Yes! Needed for proper air flow through unit. I made my own brackets out of deep unistrut. Cut and welded them. You can but angle brackets to make then if you don’t weld.
