When I first received this mat I was surprised at how heavy it was. But later I realised that it's due to the heavy duty rubber type material the mat doesn't move while practising! The surface is nice and velvety which makes it a pleasure to practise on each day.The fabric feels like a nice warm hug and the more you sweat on the mat the better your grip gets. I truly love this mat and it has made my yoga practise even more fulfilling.The print is also very very beautiful.

The only issue I have is that it's not long enough but the beautiful design and softness of the mat without it being too thick makes for a very comfortable yoga practice.
