Shielded RJ45 Crimp Connector (100 Pack Bag)

These are quality connectors. I terminate a LOT of RJ45’s with both CAT5 and CAT6 and have seen a lot of terrible connectors. I used these with outdoor shielded CAT5E for IP cameras and wireless bridges. These are POE devices that can be quite demanding on connector contacts. Only time will tell if the metallurgy in the contacts is up to snuff, but everything is looking good so far. They’ve been in service for several weeks now with no issues. They are very well made, easy to crimp, and should stand up quite well if properly protected.

The price? Unbeatable. Quality? Better than expected for the price. My only complaint is it does NOT work with my CAT6 cable. The inlet for the cable is too small. It will work, but be prepared to be frustrated. I had to use needle nose pliers to flatten the CAT6 cable before jamming it in as hard as possible. it takes a few tried per termination as the twisted pairs would move around as I would flatten the cable. But once terminated, these things are fantastic. Would I buy them again? Absolutely, as long as it's for personal use. I would recommend techs either buy other connectors or make sure the CAT6 cable is only marginally bigger than CAT5e

Great value. Connectors work even better than a previous brand I was using that I thought were good. These make the other brand look pretty bad actually! These are much easier to get the wires inserted into and crimp perfectly every time. So far I've made over 50 cables using these crimps and not a single problem with any of them

Worked great with our Shielded Cable we purchased. Easy to crimp and holds strong. Had a wall with EMI problems, needed shielded cable and this. All 3 systems still working great.

The Tupavco connectors work as intended, but crimping the connectors for reliable connections is challenging.

Strong and sturdy. They are just a hair bigger because of the shielding (maaaaybe 2mm) so they tend to get stuck in my crimpers but you can trust them to do the job. Very happy with these so far... Will update again when possible. ***UPDATE: Upgrading these to 5 stars. The only gripe I have is that I usually have to push them out of my crimpers but I'm used to it by now and very quick at it :) We're still ordering lots of these regularly.

I make a lot of my own cables - need to both for custom lengths and when wiring up industrial equipment. These shielded connectors have been flawless. Never had one whose pins didn't pierce the insulation or have one go bad after flexing around a bit.

The quality and sturdiness of these ends are excellent; however, as there is no pass-through for the wires through the end, it is nearly impossible to get a good complete termination. We ended up switching out to an end with pass-through and completed the project in short order.
