From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes the stunning conclusion to the Forge Trilogy. In this final volume, ruthless billionaire Jericho Forge faces his toughest challenge. To emerge victorious, he’ll have to give up the one thing he’s never offered a woman—his heart. It started as a game. She was nothing but my pawn. But I was quick to see the error in my ways, and now she is everything I never knew I needed. The value of a woman like India Baptiste is beyond measure. But the problem with being a man like me? I’ve already screwed this up, and there’s no guarantee India will take me on for one last bet. I'll do whatever I have to do. Drop to my knees and offer her the only thing I have left. The one thing that’s only ever been hers—the heart of the devil. Review: It wasn’t the island that was home. It’s the man. - Wow. What an explosive conclusion to the Forge Trilogy. Heart of the Devil was a nonstop, thrilling rollercoaster of events that culminated into a truly unpredictable story. Meghan March delivers a powerful and seductive romance which is deserving of far more than five stars and I couldn’t have possibly loved this trilogy more. "Happily-ever-afters don’t start with losing a bet, kidnappings, and negotiations." Heart of the Devil is the epic conclusion to the Forge Trilogy. This also happens to be my new personal favorite series from New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Meghan March. Heart of the Devil picks up exactly where readers were left hanging at the end of Luck of the Devil, and this installment of the trilogy is just as much a rollercoaster of events as the previous books. Please note that this is a trilogy (as previously mentioned) and you must read these books in order to follow the storyline. Correct reading order is: Deal with the Devil Luck of the Devil Heart of the Devil I have truly loved each and every book in this trilogy, and yet I can not help but state that this is one example of saving the best for last! Indie and Jericho’s romance is unquestionably original and entertaining. MM is an exceedingly talented author. The stories she pens are sexy, entertaining and simply outstanding romances for readers to consume at their leisure. I, for one, struggle to put down her books once I have started reading them and Heart of the Devil was no different. It captured my attention from the first line, and after a long night, I finished in just one sitting. I felt that it was set to a fast, yet perfect pace the drove me to keep reading from cover to cover. There is nothing like that feeling of contentment one achieves after a truly satisfying romance and that’s just what I felt after I finished the Forge Trilogy. "Jericho Forge doesn’t have a single clue what it’s like to be the center of someone’s world. He’s about to find out." Heart of the Devil concludes the romance between India Baptiste and Jericho Forge. It’s a dual POV romance with outstanding character depth and progression over the course of the trilogy. I loved Indie’s character on every level, but I have a soft spot for a$$holes in my romances… meaning Jericho is definitely my favorite character. I also think he had the most character progression and has taken the place of my favorite MM Hero. Jericho is that hero… you know the one that’s deeper than expected, a proverbial fortress of strength who never displays a feeling? Yes, that’s the one. But once he meets Indie, well, let’s just say all bets are off—He falls hard for one woman, one he never saw coming, one who was supposed to just be a means to revenge—and the fall is supremely satisfying to watch. Indie sets his world on fire and by the epilogue of this one, I was ready to proclaim my undying love for Jericho… And if I am being honest, the ‘Cracken’ may have some small part in that 😉. I guarantee if you’ve read MM before, you know all about how hot her romances can be. Heart of the Devil—the entire trilogy for that matter—is no exception. Have your spouses on standby or those batteries charged because you will be a mess in need of a cold shower whenever you pick up something by MM. Also, it’s important that you’re planning ahead when you read a book by this particular author because I guarantee that you will be binge reading everything in her catalogue after just one book—that’s what I did!!! Reading is pure joy for me. I have read a book a day since I was about 7, so that’s a long time… Now that I am a blogger, I have been so lucky to discover many talented authors that I hadn’t read in the past. More than two years ago, it’s how I discovered MM and she’s remained one of my favorite authors since I read that very first book. She consistently writes 4- and 5-star romances that remind me all over again just why I fell in love with reading so many years ago. Having the opportunity to jump on reading books like Heart of the Devil for my blog is always such an honor and I can’t wait to see what Meghan March delivers next to readers. QUOTES: Forge doesn’t need me. He doesn’t need anyone. The glimpse of the man I saw behind the granite wall was a mirage. He doesn’t exist. -- She’s a siren, and I’m the sailor she’s trying to lure in. I’ve never wrecked a ship, but she could tempt me to do anything. -- She’s the one thing money can’t buy, and she’s my ... world. -- The pity in their eyes stokes the inferno of rage that I’m hoping will meld my broken heart back into something recognizable. The fires of the forge. Review: BOOK HANGOVER!!!! - Meghan March will blow your mind and change your standards for what an AWESOME book is!!! Jericho and Indy face not only stormy seas, but a full on tsunami as they learn what it is to have someone they can trust and love. Someone that will fight for “them” as much as they’re willing to fight for all that they have. For Indy, it’s about survival and desperation and for Jericho, it’s about being so powerful that no one can ever beat him down again. This trilogy will leave you breathless in many ways. The passion that burns between Jericho and Indy is incendiary and the mystery of their pasts and secrets of their present will have you forgoing sleep to see what happens next. (I don’t think it was only me who didn’t sleep once the Forge Trilogy hit my Kindle!) The question of who is loyal, and who is not, plagues this couple throughout their whole story! Lies from a past that they didn’t even know existed and the desperation to succeed drives this couple on a journey of epic proportion and takes the reader into a world of fortune, high stakes and joy beyond measure! If you are an audio book listener... I don’t always do this, but since I couldn’t wait for the audio book to release, I read the ebook in a matter of hours (namely the hours between midnight and when I finished…no, I didn’t sleep…LOL) and then, the very next day listened to the audio version. To say that I was completely immersed in the Forge world, is an understatement! Joe Arden and Erin Mallon ARE AMAZING with this whole trilogy! Erin Mallon’s Russian accents, panic and desperate tones give Indy such emotion that it allows the listener to just get lost in this amazing story! Erin’s male voice tone and Joe’s strong delivery make this story seamless. I would imagine it must be a lot of fun to have such RICH characters to portray in audio, but believe me when I say that Erin and Joe add their own level of richness and fullness to the characters as much as Meghan did when she wrote them! All I know is that "Release the Kraken" has forever taken on a whole new meaning!

Love surpasses all machinations
I am flabbergasted and astounded by the turns of event and the unraveling of the mysterious enemies. But ooohlala it was such a twisted and fantastic read, filled with so many angst and nuances that will have you hanging on and anticipating every word and line in the story. Ms. March made the characters come to life for me, the story so much more than words playing out in my mind. I am still not quite sold on the ending, expecting a whole lot more from Jericho, based on the build up of his character and his history with dealing with his enemies. Jericho lost his mind when he starts listening to others about his relationship with Indy, and ended up making a rash decision that he regretted instantly. But does he do anything to fix it after realizing his mistake.... Not fast enough to soothe me. After everything they went through and seen each others reaction to all the killings and kidnappings.... He still give her up and tell himself, 'all in the name of honour'. Are you kidding me? Honor can go take a hike in never ever land for all I care. My hat is off to Indy for the turmoil and upheavals she faced in such a short span of time, and still able to grieve and then get up to battle again....and in such style. Do love her daddy but he did get on my nerves a time of two. Although she was suspicious of Belevich, because of his knowledge and sneaking ways and comments, to me he came off more like an endearing and caring brother, and at times, her own fairy God-father. Creighton's experience and knowledge did come in pretty handy at some of the most crucial moments, which was greatly appreciated by both Indy and Jericho. I deeply felt and regretted the deaths of some of these characters but what must be.... Must be. And yet people are saying Jericho is more and even better than Mount (HELL NO!!!!).... Readers you need to get a copy of the 'Mount Trilogy'. But please bare in mind Mount is already taken (no I am not into 'the sharing is caring baloney either').

My favorite Meghan March series to-date! Absolutely loved it!
I had the opportunity to review the audio version of Heart of the Devil, the final book in The Forge Trilogy, by Meghan March and I completely devoured it! Could not stop listening to it! Joe Arden and Erin Mallon were perfect as Forge and India. They truly brought the story to life for me and I got lost in the story repeatedly! The Forge Trilogy is my favorite series by Meghan March to-date! The suspense, intrigue and chemistry had me captivated from the first book to the last! In Heart of the Devil we get the stunning conclusion of Forge and India’s story and after the conclusion of the previous book, I needed this book! And it was everything I expected and more! It all started as an end to a means, but now, now hearts and lives are on the line! The clock is ticking to save the one you love and figure out who is behind all of it! Who can you trust and how far you are willing to go? Let me tell you, Indy and Forge will do whatever it takes for the other! I absolutely loved this series! Forge and Indy were great characters and I loved being in the middle of their journey. Forge was cocky, determined, strong and sexy. He could be cold and distant and determined to get revenge, but when it came to Indy, we saw a man who would love and protect with all he has. Indy was strong, beautiful, smart and feisty. She was also vulnerable, but all others saw was a spine of steel. They were great individually but absolutely amazing together. Loved this series and highly recommend it! Happy reading!

A high-octane finish to an intense and tangled series.
I’ve been so invested in the Forge trilogy when this book hit my Kindle on release day; I devoured the entire thing before lunch. It was a high-octane finish to an intense and tangled series. Jericho and India both suffered greatly in this book and had myriad revelations to reconcile before they were able to find solid ground on which to rebuild their lives. Heart of the Devil jumps right in where Luck of the Devil left off, while I’d remembered what had happened, I forgot the urgency of the situation and my heart was pounding by the end of the second page. I could feel Indy’s panic as surely as it was my own. Even while I was reading both perspectives and knew exactly what was going on, the starkness of her emotions overrode any security I had about Jericho throughout the entirety of the book India and Jericho’s relationship was put to the test in Heart of the Devil, and it served to make both characters face the depths of their feelings. I loved the vulnerability they finally showed one another, since they’d both shown themselves to be impenetrable to even those closest to them. Each needed the strength of the other to finally release everything they’d pent up through their lives. It was quite interesting to realize how shockingly similar, yet strikingly different their pasts were, it was quite the juxtaposition, and I loved every part of discovering what made Jericho and Indy who they were. The action of Heart of the Devil was insane. I was sure of the direction the book was headed and BAM! shocking reveal, time and again I was utterly taken aback by what seemed to be happening and what was actually happening. The entire Forge trilogy was rife with red herrings, I finally quit speculating as to what was going to happen and just buckled myself in for the wild ride Ms. March took us on. Heart of the Devil is the third and final book in Meghan March’s Forge trilogy. This series is one story told in three volumes and must be read in its entirety. Heart of the Devil is written in dual first-person perspective, narrated by India and Jericho.

Seriously was worth me waiting to read!
Ok I am not a patient person so with that being said I made myself wait till all 3 books & audio books were released! I am so glad I did because it was definitely worth the wait!! I have left reviews for the first two books and now for final book. In this book we find the love that Forge and Indy are feeling for one another is real and so for strong. They would do anything for each other no matter the cost. Indy and Jericho will find out who they can and can't trust and will be shocked by who will betray them. You will be blown away by the things revealed in this final book. It's action packed, full of suspense, twist and turns and plenty of deceit. If you like to listen to books them this trilogy is worthy of each and every credit! Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are absolutely amazing!! Erin has a unique way pulling off accents and Joe's voice is so forceful and strong it's perfect fit for Jericho! Meghan March this is my first time to read your books on my gosh you have totally blown me away. Thanks for such an amazing series and I can can't wait to read more of your books! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💓💓💓💓💓

Not disappointed. but thinks that something is missing
The reason for the hatred that Dorsy has for Joricho is too weak. In the end, I thought De Vere was a hero. 😂 P.S. I'm not sure if I skipped it, but 10 years ago, India had sex with De Vere? Because she said she was drugged and de vere was drunk.

Forged in Fire
So I used to be a fan of reading a series because once reading 50 Shades of Grey, I thought that's all there was. But while I have found there is a vast world of romance out there, I much prefer singular books or maybe intertwined series. However, that being said, I do find myself falling for a series from time to time though I am one to wait until the whole series is out before I get started though I do get blindsided by a cliffy sometimes. So authors, please give us the heads up if we're about to jump off a cliff. anyway, Meghan March is one of those authors that I'm willing to give up several days of diverse reading for one series. She rarely disappoints and Indy and Jericho were no exception. I very much enjoyed Indy fighting for her man. And the twists and turns I absolutely did not see coming. I have to say, though, I was annoyed by Summer. She uses her sister's name and connections but gets butthurt when Indy stands up for herself against some trifling jerkface causing Summer to lose the job that again Indy's connections got her. You can just go on with that nonsense. I will say this book made the whole series. It had the angst. The sweet. The delicious plot. I very much enjoyed the series. I do think Jericho should have been the one working to get his girl. But how it turned out was just as lovely. I'd be lying if I didn't say I very much enjoy some skinned knees from some hardcore groveling. I can't wait to see what she has in store next.

This book is a wild ride from start to finish! Packed with jaw-dropping twists, sizzling romance, and edge-of-your-seat suspense, Heart of the Devil keeps you hooked till the very last page. Jericho and India’s love is the perfect mix of fire and devotion—trust me, you’ll be swooning! Meghan March knows how to keep hearts racing, and this thrilling conclusion to the Forge Trilogy is pure magic. Absolutely unputdownable!

To have love is to cherish its rewards
A fantastic conclusion to a stunning series, by an exceptionally talented author. Jericho and Indy’s lives seem so entwined together. We start the book on the cliffhanger of number two in the trilogy. Everyone is dead. India is distraught. Mystery, drama, intrigue, lies despair, love, so tender and heartbreaking, are all here. People you thought you knew, through the written word, people whom you felt you trusted, people who you thought may be loyal, all is not what it seems. It is very difficult to read this book and not get involved. There were times when I wanted to shout at both Jericho and Indy for their stubborn attitudes. Summer I wanted to rattle, and who’s father or mother is whom. Answers abound. Questions are made and eventually answered, but through it all is an exciting, believable and incredibly well written novel.
