120-3000 Above Panel Flush Hood Latch and Pin Kit - Black Carbon Fiber Look

I put these on a '67 Olds 442, of course they had nothing like this back then, I doubt anyone was even dreaming of carbon fiber products. The car is bright yellow and these black latches look perfect. They are installed on a scooped fiberglass hood and helped to stabilize it from flopping around in the wind at speed. So overall, looks and function, they are just what the Doctor ordered - Dr.Olds that is. I doo most everything on my cars, engines, transmissions, anything but I left these to a pro body man. He was even able to used a preexisting hole as part of the fitment. Couldn't ask for better. I did not use the key lock model.

Like the way these hood lock pan turned out. I have people asking where I got them from and who installed them. I installed them myself.

They were perfect but I decided to go with something simpler to install

Well worth the security of having these on my carbon fiber hood. They work as they should, and the quality is really good. The carbon finish doesnt match my hoods weave pattern but its not that big a deal to me.

My husband put it on his spirts car. Looks perfect.

I have used Aerocatch hood latches on several builds, best latches out there. But in this case the carbon is just original black latches hydro dipped carbon , so they are not carbon latches, just made to look like carbon and not very good looking carbon either. Get the aerocatch latches but save by ordering the original instead.

…the carbon fiber paint comes off very easily. Not even a month installed and parts of it already started coming off during carwash (I use a pressure washer for foam)

Very good quality and very strong to hold the hood. Perfect fitted with my carbon fiber hood.
