Air Pod 40019 Oscillating Bladeless Fan 6 Air Speeds Remote Control Touch Sensitive, White, H36 x W26 x D26cm

I have been using the Air Pod during this exceptionally hot weather. The heat in London can be quite stifling too. On 1st use, I felt it wasn't any more powerful than your normal fan. However, due to it's multi-directional function, it cools the whole room. My home can become like a green house at times & I have 2 Longhaired German Shepherds - so for extra cool I just add an average desk fan into the equation! It does become louder the higher the speed - but don't the majority of fans do that? Night function is practically silent. The remote control has a bit of a delayed response but it might just need new batteries. Looks like a cute little robot - I feel I should give it a name! I rarely write reviews, but this is certainly worthy of one.

This fan was a ‘used like new’ item. Came in original packaging and on time. In very good condition. It’s bigger than it looks about the size of a football, but very easy to move around the home and fits snugly on most level surfaces. Remote didn’t work on arrival and needed a new battery. A very stylish fan which suits my home decor perfectly. Looks and moves like a little robot. Certainly cools the room on level 6 and when on for at least 6-8 hours. Low on energy costs. Used overnight in bedroom at level 3-4 which is quiet enough for sleeping. Overall an excellent buy.

Arrived packaged perfectly. The facia of the fan had some damage/scratches and a small dink at the top when I unboxed it. See photos. Otherwise very easy on the eye, like a sci-fi futuristic version of a fan. Breeze is good and rotation horizontally and vertically is excellent and very quiet. The only time the fan gets noisy is at full blast 5/6 but it is all wind noise, nothing mechanical. Wish mine wasn’t scratched but happy otherwise.

Nice looking fan, but the remote is terrible, it takes a few presses for it to react and you have to be pointing it directly at the fan. Price wise, I would expect a decent remote control device. Worth the price for the style, but not the overall mechanics.

After using for almost a month these are the pros and cons in my opinion.The pros of buying one is the modern design and the looks of the fan, another major bonus are the buttonless functions and the fact it comes with a remote.Rather basic for a modern device.The cons on the other hand.. very noisy for a bladeless fan .The night function is still very noisy I find it hard to sleep with the fan turned on. Even at the lowest setting is still noticeably loud.Another con that goes hand in hand with the noise is the effectiveness, it doesen’t really move air arround till you get to the 3rd speed setting and from there onwards the noise is overpowering the air blown from the fan.My classic standing fan is more efficient and less noisy.Would I buy one again? Very unlikelyWould I recommend it to a friend ,again, highly unlikely.There are better products that work more effective in the same price range.Hope this was helpful if you’re looking into buying one .

Nice looking design, moved round smoothly and very responsive to the remote and touch buttons.The Airpod didn't give much out in air even on Max power it felt weak and when in max power it was very loud.
