Women's Prowess Side-Zip Military and Tactical Boot

This is fake Danner. Be aware this is made in Vietnam real Danner are from the 🇺🇸 they don't hold shine. I bought this boot for the academy I took them to a shoe shine store The guy said this is FAKE Danner. AMAZON SELLING FAKE ITEMS. FOR THE PRICE OF REAL BRAND.

I read all the reviews praising these boots.. and I was SO excited to get them and put them on... and they pinched my feet so bad I can't wear them. I bought the W version, and going up a size wouldn't really help as the toe box fit appropriately, a bigger size would have been too long. I loosened the laces as much as possible, I removed my custom orthotics/inserts that I'd put in them, but they just pinch and are waaaay too tight along the middle of my foot. I'm so sad, I wanted to badly to love these boots! I have two other pairs of Danners, both about 6 1/2-7 years old, they're absolutely AMAZING and I LOVE them to pieces. Both those pairs were made in USA, these are imported (thanx China), so maybe that has something to do with it? I don't know. I hate returning things, I absolutely hate it, but I have to send these back, they just don't fit. :( I'll stick to my old USA-made Danners.

They fit better than expected. I’ve tried many boots but these are the best made and the best fitting boots I’ve ever worn. I have problem feet. These boots helped me to walk again. Thanks Danner for making such a wonderful pair of boots.

I've been hearing from so many people how great these boots are. One in particular said that theirs have lasted them upwards of 14 years and takes them in every 4 to 5 years for a resole. I finally spent the money. Day 2, no more foot pain and by the end of the week, my back pain was pretty much gone. I've been wearing them roughly a month now and I am so glad I got them. Danner's are definitely the way to go especially if you need wear them constantly or work in public safety!

Never leave reviews but needed to for this one. The most comfortable work boots I’ve ever owned! I’m on my feet as EMT all day and these were comfortable from day 1! I have a narrow foot but the regular width was too tight. Definitely go with wide! Order your regular shoe size, I went one size too small and my foot was suffocated. Went with regular shoe size and it fit toe to heel but was tight side to side. Ordered my regular size in wide and perfect fit! They are a bit stiff at first but it went away by day 2. Highly recommend these boots!

Update, we were able to return the defective boots for a replacement. However the new ones are starting to fray out on the stitching along the zippers on the inside of the leg. Contacted danner they said it's a new product and it might be a design defect they will have to investigate if enough returns come back for the issues. Will probably work through dinner too replace these with something from their catalog that's been on the market longer. They recommended that we take a look at the striker or kinetic models as they have been on the product line for a much longer time.No doubt without a defect this product is awesome. Bought them for my wife's birthday August 21st, got overwhelmed with moving into a new house and just put them on for the first time for a hike today. Hopefully don't get stiff armed on the return because it's just outside the 30 days. Hoping this review can trigger some sort of corrective action.

These boots are very lightweight. Takes a couple days to break . These have been the best boots I have owned throughout my ems career. After a 12-16 hour shift, my feet do not hurt and they stay dry and cool. In my opinion, well worth the money.According to other reviews, These boots do run a bit small so I ordered a half size bigger than normal and they fit perfectly.

These are fabulous but they do run a little small. I wear a six regular in normal boots. The six regular was extremely tight. I then traded for a six wide and still too tight. I tried a thinner sock and I believe with wear and breaking in they will be fine.All in all these are extremely well made and light as a feather. I am using them for hiking boots for the ankle support and over all I love them because they are light and breathable. Traditional hiking boots are too heavy for me so I suggest these for anyone who feels the same.
