Good deal for miniatures
I love to make things with Dremels. I have been working on dollhouses all year. The regular 4000 model Dremel works for just about everything but cuts beveled edges where I want a straight edge. I was looking for something that would work like my dad's old circular saw but on the miniature scale. When I use my 4000 Dremel I have to hold it at such an angle when cutting a piece only 2 inches long. Then allow for a little extra to sand off the point that is made during cutting. It is extra work for sure.I got this Dremel on sale. It is larger than what I imagined. This tool is heavy. I think it is heavier than dad's old palm sander, which I use quite often. The good thing is that it will fit in areas that the old palm sander will not. This is perfect for working in miniature scale. The tool came with sanding discs and accessory pack. The 3.5" blade is more than enough for any of my projects.I put the saw blade on the Dremel and tested on some hardboard from my local hardware store.I put it on the lowest speed to score a line in the wood. Then I changed the speed setting to 8 and followed the scored line to complete a very nice 90 degree cut line in the hardboard. I was impressed at how safe and easy this tool is. I was a bit afraid of it at first, but it doesn't rotate like a rotary Dremel. It oscillates back and forth. It is very easy to control in spite of its weight and size.

Cut to your Heart's Content
This powerful tool handles a variety of tough tasks that can thwart more conventional tools.I bought it to cut a big hole in an outside door. Most of the instructions you see for doing this tell you to drill big holes and then do the cuts with a jigsaw. Maybe that works, but it's really hard to do when you're cutting a hole close to the ground. In addition, a jigsaw is bulky and can be finicky about cutting. Keeping one straight is hard on your body!In comparison, the Dremel is a plunge cutter. To make the cut, all I had to do was turn the tool on and press it against the door. I made a shallow cut along the entire line of each side of the hole, and then finished up by sawing down until I broke through. No drilling, no wrestling with big tools.Unlike a jigsaw, this tool can also cut tile, degrout, sand, and even cut metal. It comes with attachments for collecting dust and keeping the tool moving straight.Final benefit: It's a Dremel. I have three Dremels now: this tool, another traditional wired multi-tool, and a battery multi-tool. I've never had a problem with any of them.

Good tool
I have several different types of Dremel's and like them all. The oscillating Dremel is overall easy to use, sturdy and is great for cutting outlets in back of cabinets and other uses when a rotary tool or router will not work. You can get in close and make clean cuts. The only issue I have with it is you really have to tighten down the nut as it will back out when tool is in use. Even with torqueing it down well you still need to check every few minutes to make sure it is not coming lose. However that aside it is a great tool and value for the money.

Depends on how you use it
The actual rating for this product probably depends on how you plan to use it. For my job, it performed only OK, but did get the job done. I wss cutting off an inch from the bottom of my oak kitchen cabinet (wood 7/8 inch thick) so that a new refrigerator would fit in the space. If you plan to use this on a soft wood such as pine, it's likely pretty easy. For oak, not so much. i had to stop frequently to let the motor cool down and stop the wood from smoking. We're talking sawing only less than a minute for each pass before pausing to let things cool down. So it took a long time to accomplish, It worked best to use the round blade to make an indentation, then finish and push through by using the blade to push straight into the wood. I'm sure this tool will work better for less challenging jobs. Also, I find false advertising to be very annoying. Don't be fooled into thinking the "kit" that you're buying means a special box for all the parts. What you get is the parts in the shipping box. You'll have to use some other means of storing the tool and accessories so they don't get lost.

Great Saw
The number of projects one can do with this is amazing. The blades seem a bit expensive, but time saved in getting a flush cut is worth it. my only complaint is the Allen key needed to switch blades has no way to store it on the power cord or on the machine itself. Since there is no case for it, I'm going to have to buy an after market allen key holder so I don't loose it. If it had that feature included, it would be 5 stars.

Should have bought one of these years ago.
I bought this to cut some trim to make room for ceiling panels and to cutout outlets in paneling for my basement. Works flawlessly. I also got the depth guide to go along with it and it works great as well. Doesn't have a ton of power, but works really for for the wood and panels I'm using it on. I'd definitely up the amps if I were cutting tile.Again, should have bought one of these a long time ago. Really handy.

I love my Dremels
I love my Dremels. The MM20-07 was bought to replace the 6300 model I used faithfully but I found out they no longer make that one. I was totally devastated because I had it for so many years, it was my sidekick and I had extra attachments I bought for it which are fun and fantastic to use.. The MM20-07 is a little heavier and fatter but my attachments work with it and it seems to work great. So the MM20-07 is my new side kick and we have a lot of catching up to do. From the big jobs to the little jobs, I love my Dremels !!

Terrific tool.
Absolutely the handiest tool I've ever bought. Makes cutting door facings easy when installing floor tile, cutting holes for electrical boxes in sheetrock and trimming shims. This replaced an older dremel multi-max I used for years. Hope this one lasts as long as that one did.

Very satisfied
It is better to always spend a little more money to buy a quality tool from a recognized brand than to buy any cheap Chinese tool that will break a few days later.
