We like the sturdiness of the product, and it went on with relative ease. However, we were missing a couple of sets of washers and nuts. We went the route of going to pick up the hardware rather than contacting the company, since we were in the middle of installation when we had sorted through everything enough to realize we were short. The bags of hardware appeared sealed and untampered with, so it really appears it was simply short on the needed count. Happy with the product though.

The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars was because of the poor instructions. I installed the kit on my 2020 2500 Ram Tradesman with the regular cab and long bed. Everything fit fine. The only problem with the installation was with the forward passenger side bracket. There was a electrical connection in the way of the upper bolt. In trying to get the bracket on the bolt and under the connector I pushed the bolt through and the bolt fell into the frame. If this happens, all is not lost. I used a flex magnet and fished it out. The kit comes with a wire to use when installing the bolts. I did not use it and ha no problem installing the bolts. Over all great product.

The instructions are poorly written and makes me feel like they want me to go pay someone to do it. The pictures are incorrect also. I was missing 2 flat washers,2 lock washers and 2 nuts(like the other guy). I spent 30 minutes at the hardware store finding the right stuff besides the drive. After I had everything on and was connecting the running board to the angle plate(driver) the screw kept going in crooked. Turns out the little plate in the middle of the running board end or the receiving nut were welded a little bit off so the screw won’t go in 😡 I called amazon and they will refund my money. The running board looks good and feels solid so I will be ordering it again and I hope they send everything correct this time and I will change my rating.

Even though I bought these running boards several months ago I just now got around to installing them. It only took a couple of hours but I actually cheated. I have a friend that runs a body shop and he had a lift so I went to his place to install them. I most got them because my wife had a hard time climbing into the truck but now that I got them installed she doesn't mind driving the truck because it is so much easier to get in and out now.

I bought this set because my wife has trouble getting into and out of my new truck easily. The tubing used for the nerf bars is very thin. This makes me worry about long term durability. The instructions provided were not clear and easy to follow and, worst of all, the hardware kit included was missing pieces. I had to stop and make a trip to the hardware store to complete the installation. We'll see how they hold up, but I'm not sure I'd by them if I had it to do over again.

I did not give it 5 stars due to missing nuts. Laid out all the parts and found 2 nuts missing. So happens that I needed the to mount the steps. Mounting was so easy only about a hour start to finish. And they look great.

Easy installation but the product was missing some wrong size washers and screw. Now let's see how long the durability will be. I bought it in black because I saw some people saying that the chrome appeared rust points after 3 months. I didn't want to risk it.

I put these on a 2016 Ram 1500 Express regular cab. They were very easy to install, and look great. Sturdy design. Parts are also in color coded plastic for each side, and have the side they belong to stamped on.
