UPDATE: 12/21/20 I have been looking at this rug in my kitchen for a few days now and the more I look, the better I like it so I'm keeping it! I usually have a brightly colored kitchen runner, but since I recently created an eye-catching new valance for the window above the sink, this time I wanted a rug that was a little more subdued and did not detract from the valance; this one works nicely (despite the gray). As previously stated, the quality is very good, it appears to be well-made and the price was excellent. The design is not something you'll find in the big box stores either. It is not thick, but runners ordinarily aren't and my robot vacuum has no problem with it as it might with a thicker rug. My first purchase of a Maples Rug,, but it won't be my last!ORIGINAL POST: Just received this rug today, two days early. It did not smell at all and flattened right out on the floor. I did put some items on one end that was slightly curled to flatten it out, but I think it would have done the job on its own. The colors are very nice, but I bought this based on a review that quoted the colors as "cream, brown, indigo blue, and tan". All of these colors are there but the blue is more baby blue with bits of cornflower blue and it has a good amount of gray, which I do not use gray at all in my decorating so you see my problem. My floors are beigey vinyl with brownish-taupe "grout". I will look at it a bit longer before I decide to keep it and might try it in the front hall. Maybe I missed a different listing of colors. It seems to be an extremely nice rug and it is 6' long, not the usual five and if you "do" gray, then you will love it.

This rug is perfect. It’s not too thick for the door to easily glide over it, yet it’s soft. I love the no-slip backing. The colors are vibrant. I just wish it was a little longer. The fact that this is s family owned business & all made in the USA instead of China makes it a double winner. I’ll look to them first for future purchases

This is a beautiful rug that obviously is made with quality!! The rubber backing is awesome & theres been no slips with us or our dogs!! These gorgeous rugs can be washed & dried in your own washer & dryer! Ive had to throw out so many rugs due to the fact they werent machine washable! Since these rugs can be it was the deciding factor to buy these. I dont anticipate having to buy rugs again!! I bought the 5x7, 10foot runner, 4 of the smaller size. I was so impressed ive ordered 4 in the size 2.6x3x10 size!!! The colors in the rug are soft & not overpowering! And no e of the rugs ive received habe NO ordor at all!! I recommend these very highly & so happy i found exactly what ive been looking for in rugs for the last several years!!!

This rug is very well made. I bought the 5 x 7. I love the fact that is has a rubber backing. I don't love how it was packaged though because, when unrolled, one end of the rug is bunched up due to the way it's packaged and is a real fall hazard. It's pretty, yes, but I wouldn't say it's gorgeous. It's overpriced in my opinion. The price point for this rug should not be more than $70 at the most. I bought an 8 x 10 rubber backing rug at Walmart and it was $80 (bigger). Also, I wish there were other colors. I'm happy but definitely overpaid. If Amazon is listening, please reprice your rugs and PLEASE have more options of rugs with rubber backings with different designs. That would be so great. If Walmart can do it and for better pricing, I know Amazon can too! Thank you Amazon 🤗

I purchased four of these hall runners to reduce the effect of the cold tile during winter months in my apartment. These rugs are well made; edges are tightly finished and fabric is soft and finely woven. Color is subtle and pleasing. I noticed absolutely no oder when I took each roll out of its plastic sleeve. They all laid flat; one had some ripples but instructions say to tumble dry for 20 minutes. I just did a couple minutes and most went away. In a couple hours it will be flat. Kitties approve.Last year I had several runners purchased from a big box store a few years ago that were okay but cheaply made and a mono color plus made elsewhere. I’m thrilled to find Maples and have a couple more places I need area rugs for. I’ll buy them from Maples. Thanks!

It fits perfect in front of the sliding patio doors. It stays in place on my tile floor. Easy to roll up to take outside to shake. Machine washable and I air dry mine. Looks great and functional. I would definitely buy this again.

This rug is beautiful and very soft! I purchased the 2x6 rug for our bathroom and it’s perfect. I almost didn’t purchase it because many reviewers say the rug smelled like rotten eggs but I decided to try it since it was only $17. Well I’m glad I went for it because there was absolutely no smell at all..... not even a hint of rubber smell from the backing. I even had my husband smell the inside of the bag it came in to see if what he thought and he said it smelled like air. Maybe it’s a luck of the draw scenario and the smell depends on where the rugs are stored and shipped from. Anyway we like it so much that I’m putting in an order right now for two more to use in our other bathroom and laundry room. It’s definitely a quality runner for the price and I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Perfect size & the colors are great for the furniture I have. It’s just as the picture showed it to be. Doesn’t move around has good rubber backing, safe as we are senior’s 👍🏻😊, bought the smaller one for the front door area.

I bought this on the outlet site for a good price. I have had it for a week or so and there is a wrinkle in it at one end. I’m hoping it works itself out. The Color is perfect
