Huawei E8372H-155 150 megabits_per_Second Wi-Fi Dual_Band 4G Wingle Data Card (White)

I was on the lookout for an unlocked 4G dongle in which I can use 4G SIMs from any service provider who offered good connectivity for lower rates. My search on the net brought up the product Huawei E8372h-155 unlocked 4G/LTE WiFi dongle with very good reviews. I ordered one on Amazon from the seller Appario Retail Pvt. Ltd. My experience with the product follows: The item arrived on the 5th day exactly at the time specified. The item was brand new, in its original sealed packing and enclosed in another Amazon packing. The sealed packing contained the dongle ("wingle" as they call it), 1 year warranty card from the manufacturer, Quick Installation manual and the invoice for the item. I inserted the 4G SIM from my mobile phone into the wingle as instructed in the manual (you have to use the full-size SIM, not micro or nano) and plugged it into the USB port of the laptop. It installed automatically and opened my default browser, Google Chrome, with Huawei net management page opened. It is just plug-and-paly, with no hassles. (All the default user ID and passwords were printed inside the wingle, which you may change at this point, but not necessary). The point is, I got superfast internet just by plugging the wingle into the USB port of the laptop. No problem at all. You can operate it from any 5V 1 amp power source such as your mobile charger, or a power bank or even the charger in your car. It then performs as a WiFi router and can connect upto 16 users (I have not tested that because I do not have that many users around me). But I could get good connection from as far as 10 meters away from the wingle. And it is so small you can carry it in your pocket wherever you go, and use any SIM with data charged. I am fully satisfied with this product.

Excellent product! Genuine Huawei product! However, customers should be cautioned that it tracks you! Regarding installation and working, initially I got problem because I didn't know what is login and password. I was using the one that I have for the Huawei website. However, we need not use that. We need to use the admin, as we are the "host" for the wifi. Use admin, change the password, it starts working. Regarding the speed, I should tell you that I am using BSNL 3G sim. With the older Huawei 3G dongle the speed comes a little bit slow. However, with this the speed is excellent!!. I don't know the reason behind this enhanced speed. But it is working better than the earlier dongle. With dongle however, we can make a call, receive a call send or receive a sms etc. At present I do not know it I can do the same with this mingle, but I hope it I download the latest app then probably I can. The looks are excellent. The working is excellent! What else do we want? A a product this is an excellent product. Thanks

I'm writing this after a month of usage. The Huawei E8372h -155 Wingle has been working well. It is well made. Does not look like a cheap product. Heats up a little bit, but not much even on prolonged usage. I just plug the wingle into the laptop's USB drive for powering it, or sometimes put it in a USB charger. In WiFi mode, there is no need to use any software to be able to connect to the Internet. But there is a software/app that comes inside the wingle, and that software/app is of 32-bit and does not work with 64-bit OS. There is probably no need to use that app however, since WiFi works otherwise. There is a web interface to do some settings, view SMS messages, etc. The WiFi can be used from multiple devices at the same time. Maybe a bit expensive product but reliable and works well.

Good hardware and still running after 5 years

Wanted to buy JioFi for 2k, but i got this for 2.7K with bank offer. So I've future proofed myself in case I decide to switch from Jio. It works with my Mi Power bank 2 10,000Mah power bank, the power bank did not auto shutoff which was my concern before buying this. With 50% battery on my power bank, I got ~12 hours of straight usage. CONS- 1. A bit bulky and long. I'm always afraid that if wrong pressure is applied while its plugged in I could deform the USB plug of this device since its sticking out so far out 1a. When connected on my power bank, this thing blocks the micro usb port which can charge the power bank. So I cannot parallelly charge the power bank while using this. Way to get around this would be to get a usb extension cable 2. I wish I could turn off it's wifi for times when i directly plug it into my laptop using it solely as a dongle. Maybe the feature exists and I havent found it yet

Excellent purchase! Price little bit high but it doesn't matter to me because I never compromise with quality. Best in segment. All is well - network coverage, wifi range etc. No heating issue evenif I went asleep and the dongle remains connected overnight at all...!! Data Speed is also better than my smartphone (even my phone supports 4g+ carrier aggregation). 👍SMS indicator & access: I liked this feature very much. Can access through Huawei Hilink app. So helpful for OTP on online transactions etc.

Heating issue on the product

After lot of research and testing brought this device, this product never disappoint me, i am Using VI SIM with unlimited data ,we can use any network SIM ,i am getting constant speed around 50 Mbps, infact Better speed than many Fiber connections, also this device delivering Better speed than my flagship mobile, Its work like a charm with any mobile adpater or power bank consumes very low battery for 10000 mah power bank will get at least a week usage and can play 4K video in smart tv without a lag and can connect many devices at same time, signal strength also too good , getting good signal all over my home, Worthy Device from Huawei.
