It worked!
I had an 09g valve body in my wifes 2007 vw passat and it was shifting hard into 2nd gear. Did some research and found out replacing the solenoids could fix the problem. The shop wanted to replace the whole valve body for 2400 bucks. These solenoids only cost 300 bucks and they did fix the problem. 2nd gear was perfect, but then the car was shifting hard in reverse and flaring a lot in 3rd and 5th gear. Low and behold, there is an adjustment screw on the clutch control valves, so I adjusted just one of those and it fixed the problem right away. Now the car has been running strong for like 600 miles. These solenoids did the trick. Thanks Wolfsburg Tuning.
