Griffin Guitar Sidekick - Headstock Mount

This product is wonderful!!! I would highly recommend this to all guitar players at any level. This works well on all of my guitars and my daughters guitars. It even works well on my acoustic baritone that has really heavy gauged strings.For those who have complained about this putting their guitar out of tune... Yes when you first clip this to your strings it does affect the tuning, but a quick fine tune and you're back in business. I'll just assume those complaints are from newbies who struggle just to tune their guitar to begin with.

Best gadget you can get for your guitar I was afraid it might damage the string but it didn't is very convenient when I play I usually look at what I'm playing with my finger and I'm looking at the direction of where it is clipped it on.

I have been wanting something to hold my iPhone while I play for years! This is excellent. The only thing I would change is that I would have it spring clip onto the headstock instead of into the strings. This does not fit on my classical guitar.

Will fit your standard 6 string electric or steel string. Will not work on Classical or 5 string Bass guitars. There is not enough room to fit under the strings on either of my Classicals and 5 string bass would not allow the clip to close enough.

Messes with the tuning a bit, but it's super handy.

This is the greatest! I've been learning from guitar tabs for the longest time. Also like playing along with music. This thing holds my iPhone 7 in perfect place as I play along with guitar tabs app and music playlists. My guitar playing has changed because of it. It's so convenient. It allows me to learn at a faster speed.I was concerned about what another reviewed about tuning problems. I have NO idea why they said that. I slid it through, tightened it, and that was that. Haven't tinkered with it since. It NEVER gives me problems. Don't understand why people said that on their reviews. Scary I almost didn't buy it because of a review that I consider misleading now.

This mounts to your strings, not to the headstock itself. It definitely affects tuning, and not just a little bit but signigicantly. Useless to anyone who likes their instrument to be in tune. Returned immediately.
