This fit 2004 MIM Standard Stratocaster Perfectly
This fit my 2004 Made in Mexico Standard Stratocaster perfectly. It has a full shielding, which is an upgrade from the stock one. The shielding is a bit thin, but likely works all the same. I don't like to shield the full pickup cavity as I believe it impacts tone, but I do like a shielded pickguard. I also will shield the control cavity and the jack cavity, but I am not a fan of putting shielding in the pickup cavity area as that's where most of the soundwaves from the body are making it over to the pickups. Just my tip to you.

Fit perfectly.
This fit perfectly on my 2001 made in Mexico Stratocaster. It's actually better than the original as the complete backside is shielded unlike the original sound on the guitar. I suggest you purchase this for your MIM Stratocaster.

Just the beginning
I bought this nice and shiny pickguard to replace my old warped one. Hey I know, I'll buy some new pups, pots, maybe some switches and design the most awesome electronic wizardry with tones aplenty. Yes, Ok, right, Let's go, Ummm, ok I'm still working out the wiring on my new dry erase board, and I had to buy a hand drill to make holes for the switches, then I needed on-on-on switches, a no-load pot, one of those duel pots also.. Man is this going to be great! About $350.00 into it now and someday it's going to happen. Oh yeah and the pickguard is great..

I would always recommend to anyone to use only Fender genuine parts. The holes are always on the same spot and pickguard is covering the same area.
