Effectiveness, comfort, adjustability and quality
This is my first experience with a patch--please take that into consideration if you read my review. The patch was needed for my left eye following a surgery that will require 6 weeks recovery. My initial concern about adaptation to the patch was totally unnecessary in all respects: effectiveness, comfort, adjustability, and construction. EFFECTIVENESS --the opaqueness is total, even when looking into a bright light. COMFORT and ADJUSTABILITY --suffice it to say the adage about "teaching an old dog new tricks" is accurate (exception being I'm not a dog!). The portion that comes into physical contact with the eye or eyelid is very soft. The elastic band also is soft and easily adjustable thanks to a well-made clasp that works like I wish lingeree straps were supposed to. The most effective position I found was to loop one end under my ear on the affected side and slide the band just below the top of my head on the opposite side. Comfortable? I have awakened to find it on my pillow! CONSTRUCTION --after 10 days, the patch looks like it just came out of the envelope, with only the band becoming a little softer and requiring minor tightening. Not to worry as the manufacturer allowed plenty of material for expansion. My thanks to the company for this product and Amazon for making it easily and economically available.

Tis a pirates life for me!
Arrrggh โ Actually having adverse effects from sinusitis which has caused my left eye and forehead to swell up. It works quite well for what it's intended to do. Now nobody has to look at my ugly eye wound lol. No stitching on pad itself so it rests comfortably over the eye. I did notice I had to reposition it throughout the day as it would slide off my eye slightly but not so much to where it was a nuisance. It may possibly have been because I needed to tighten it more but I didn't want to hurt my injury more. For the price it's worth it.

Not really appropriate for long term wear, fine for a costume for a couple of hours.
I have a regular sized adult face. I have to patch one eye for a few hours a day for about a month. The main reason I bought this item was to wear it under a pair of glasses so I can patch one eye and do close up work with the other one. It is not really 3d it is almost flat so your lashes will not fit under it, but the fabric is smooth so you can just keep your eye closed. It does fit OK under glasses. The concave patches with a pad underneath are much better for medical use, long wear over a single day, etc.

Lazy Eye :p
I use this to occasionally train my lazy eye. If any light comes through the patch, my brain will automatically try using the โgoodโ eye again. This patch is totally blackout, and fits snug to my eye, which is just what I wanted! Just make sure you have it on the right way, it took me a minute before I realized I had it on backwards ๐

Not to comfortable
So I went and got myself a nice case of Bell's paulsy, and within 24 hours of diagnosis my eye will no longer close all the way on its own. The struggle to keep my eye from drying out has cause to start looking for eye patches. I tried a few others before buying this one, and was initially happy when it arrived. Its nice and soft, has a nice adjustable strap, and has a overall good look to it. But after wearing it for about a hour I begnito notice just how uncomfortable it was. There's no real good way to wear it. If you tighten it up it digs into your ear, id you loosen it up, it tends to ride up in your eye brow. And the worst part is there isn't enough room inside for your eye to blink freely, nor enough tension to keep your eye from blinking. It looks nice and would probably be awesome for cosplay of costumes, but if your looking for a eye patch to wear though out the day over a long period of time, this may not be the one for you.

It serves its function
I purchased this eye patch to strengthen my left eye. Before I used the eye patch small print was becoming much more difficult for me to read than usual. I noticed that my right eye could read small print but if both eyes were open the blurry feedback from the left would make the print difficult to read. I use this patch to cover my right eye every now and then when I'm reading to exercise my left eye. This seems to strengthen my left eye and correct my vision. I prefer this to becoming dependent upon reading glasses or contact lenses.

Cheap, but it works.
For the money this eyepatch works fine. It is comfortable and adjustable. Do not expect it to last long as the strap gets stretched out quickly. For limited use it is great, just do no expect a long life.

Uncomfortable
Very uncomfortable. Poor quality.

No good
Poorly made given it presses against your eye. The pressure against your eye can be painful depending on your circumstances. Donโt buy.

Stitching broke immediately
Headband stitches separated on first attempt to use it. Not worth buying.
