Best clothespins on the planet; can't live without.
I'm older than dirt and I know clothespins! I should, I've used them for about 75 years. It's a rare day when my freshly washed bedding and some clothing aren't line dried. No scented dryer additive can compete with line dried freshness. Same is true of line-dried clothing, thanks to clothespins. But, as useful and versatile as wooden clothespins are (I've used them to clamp materials together when glueing, close chip bags, substitute for paperclips, limitless uses) these stainless steel ones beat them hands down. They're streamlined, quality made with no rough edges and feel good to the touch. Also, they're sturdy, have much more gripping power enabling them to hold fast the heaviest, items in the roughest wind conditions, much like a gold-digger clings to a rich old man.Buy them now while you can. You will NOT regret it. They are top quality and the best I've ever used. If nothing more than no broken clothespins again.

Black is great for fading into the background
Thank you.I have these in black, white and green. The black i use outdoors on clothing lines. They fade into the background, or are the least noticeable or cluttered looking. The white i use in the kitchen. They are easily seen indoors and are used to clip close bags. The green i use in the greenhouse.

Fantastic product and support
I contacted this vendor prior to purchasing to ask some questions about the product. They responded with detailed answers so it's clear customer service is important to them.I took these pins on a one week catamaran charter in the Bahamas. They performed great. They are very strong (stay closed). So strong I was worried they might leave marks on the items they held. I hung a 3 mil thick scuba wet suit and when removing the wet suit you could see indentations where the pins had been. I did worry about them causing a permanent impression but they did not (the marks went away after a while). None the less I am note sure I'd hang certain items with these without using a bit of padding to protect anything as "spongy" as a wet suit.My questions prior to purchase were mostly concerned with corrosion resistance. Marine environments are super harsh. If you buy a pin that costs more than a dollar it better last. Otherwise buying cheap wood ones and replacing them often is more cost effective. The vendor explained that the pins are actually painted with automobile paint. This provides a great covering that definitely *should* work pretty well in a marine environment. But did it?The pins feel and look awesome. I wanted to test their corrosion resistance so I tested a couple of white pins and a couple of unpainted ones (just raw stainless steel) by dunking them in the ocean each day and letting them air dry on the lifelines on the boat. On the lifelines they are exposed to sun and sea spray. After a week on the boat and in the sea they still looked new. But of course corrosion can take a bit of time to be evident. So I didn't write this review until 3 months after I got home. The pins I dunked every day, plus the pins I used in the normal way to hang my wet suit, bathing suit, towel, etc...all look good as new still. Not sure we're we'll be in a year but I'm super impressed thus far.Yes these cost more than wooden pins and more than many of the plastic pins. But they're super strong, won't get brittle in the sun like plastic, and I imagine with car paint they'll be very slow to corrode. They will of course eventually corrode but I am willing to bet not until I've gotten more than my money's worth out of them.

Very good, but expensive.
Strong clips. I purchased previously years ago. Too bad the price went up significantly.

Only clothespins I want to own
According to my Amazon order records, I apparently first bought a set of the stainless steel Henry Berry & Dairy Extreme Heavy Duty Clothespins in 2015. In my decades of hanging clothes out on the line in our windy rural area prior to purchasing these, I had tried nearly every kind of clothes pin there was. This included the old fashion wooden, and at least two types and sizes of plastic clothes pins, which always broke and /or came un-clipped causing my clean clothes to land on the ground. It's VERY windy out here. After I fell in love with these clothes pins, I decided I was going to get rid of all of the other kind that occupied space in my clothespin bag. After doing so, I was left with just the 20 clothespins of the set I loved. Although 20 usually was a sufficient amount of clothespins for my purposes, there were times when I needed to hunt for and use a couple of the other types because I ran out. I became very protective of my 20 stainless steel and I wanted more. I always made sure that they didn't get left out on the clothesline and brought them after every use. I would even chew my husband out for un-clipping his jeans from the line and leaving the clip attached to the clothesline. I think I've finally got him trained. When I went to order some more a couple of years later, if I recall at the time I couldn't find them again. All I could find were a different stainless steel style that were "V" shaped and smaller, but I bought them anyway. The "V" shaped clips were OK, but just not the same and definitely didn't hold as tight as these do. I decided to put the "V" shaped clips at the bottom of the clothespin bag, and use as backup when I just need a few more to finish the job. I've been doing it that way ever since and it really bugs me when I reach in my bag for a couple of clips, it seems like half of the time, I pull out a "V" shaped ones instead of the preferred ones. So, I've decided to purchase another set and get rid of the "V" shaped ones.

The best clothespin/multipurpose all weather
These things last forever rain or shine. I have had the original steel one for over 15 years, I splurged on the colored ones, thinking they might not be as good. They're great, I use them for everything and even run them through the dishwasher sometimes. They still look new.
