CoastalPet Products DCP1312 Dog Comfort Muzzle, Large, Black

This muzzle is perfect for my puppy chocolate lab. The other muzzles cover her whole snout and irritated her skin. This muzzle can be adjusted to be tighter or more loose, so she can use it if she keeps on growing instead of having to buy the next size every month. The only thing that is annoying is that the straps are attached by velcro so its not very convenient if you have a wild pup like me and have to chase her to put the muzzle on while trying to attach the straps just right. But still I prefer this muzzle over the others

This worked well for my Doberman Pinscher when she starts her afternoon “ barking “ when the walkers go by with other dogs. I now only show it to her and she knows to calm down and just watch them.

A little difficult to get on quickly but works great and does not stifle the dogs breathing. He settles right down when you put it on. It is awkward with all the Velcro so I leave it on around the neck part and tuck the muzzle part in the back. then when I need it I only have to work with the muzzle part to get around his mouth. Glad we purchased this.

We have a rescue pcoket pitbull who has become very protective around us. Our other two dogs love the dogpark and we don't like to leave her out. This works really well to keep her and the other dogs safe while also not making her look like a scary, stereotypical pittie. She doesnt love it and can get it off if she works hard enough but usually she just puts her head down and pouts. It does however work when we are monitoring. I would not leave her alone at the dog park and trust it though. It does allow her to eat and drink also.

I am giving this muzzle 3 stars because I think it is a good prototype for an alternative to traditional looking muzzles, however, it has proven to be ridiculously easy for my dog to get out of. I think there is definitely potential for a product like this if your dog is not an escape artist of any kind, or if improvements are made to the overall design.

I loved the ease of putting it on my dog and it allowed him more freedom to drink water and eat and it was ideal for carrying in my pocket ... unfortunately my dog didn't agree with me and was able to remove it unless I made it too restrictive..

If your dog is closer to the 16" size you are going to have to cut off a ton. There's no explanation on how to use it. When cutting off what I needed to, I now see that I had it on backwards and have cut off the part that was to go around the neck. It would have been nice to have had instructions included.

I have two medium-large size dogs, a boxer and a pitbull mix.I was happy to find the comfort muzzle and it looked like a perfect solution but upon arrival I was very disappointed.It's just Velcro (R) style tape.There's no padding or fabric on the side which touches the dog, so the edges are sharp.Unless you fasten it very tightly, the dog can easily remove it but when you fasten it tightly, it's painful because of the sharp edges on the tape.The product should be improved with some sort of lining and perhaps a piece of elastic so that it may truly be a "comfort muzzle" -- as it is now, it's a torture muzzle.

Tu mascota podría quitárselo con facilidad.A la mía no le duró ni un minuto puesto.

Aunque es genial que se pueda adaptar a diferentes tamaños no me funcionó en lo absoluto, mi perra se lo quito en menos tiempo de lo que tarde en ponérselo, intenté varias veces pero pasó lo mismo, inclusive apreté con fuerza y tuvo el mismo efecto. Por lo que creo que es para perros que no tienen patas o fuerza. Y obviamente no voy a apretarlo con toda mi fuerza porque no voy a lastimar a mi perro.si quieren algo que realmente funcione creo que la solución está en un bozal en forma de canasta.Saludos!

Es un buen producto, la ventaja es que es ajustable, le quedo a mi golden y a mi pastor belga pero lo malo es que cuesta trabajo ponerlo si tu perro es hiperactivo

Excelente producto para cualquier perro, tengo un pastor aleman y le quedo perfecto ya que se puede achicar o agrandar
