The Altus Jacket is a quick-drying synthetic jacket perfect for cold and damp weather. It is made from light but durable Pertex® Quantum fabric and filled with a cloud-like synthetic insulation called Cirrus™. Held in mini baffles, this insulation is highly packable and dries quickly when wet. The Altus Jacket is cut to have a regular fit to accommodate layers and is secured using the hem drawcord and elasticated cuffs. The jacket has a YKK® VISLON® front zip with an insulated baffle behind it alongside two YKK® zipped handwarmer pockets, and a YKK® zipped internal pocket. When not in use the Nimbus Jacket packs into its left pocket for easy storage. wearing this as under layer insulation whilst driving/ delivering. ,tucked in craghoppers insulated trousers unlined bomber jacket over , (works really well for warmth with movability )large size is a good fit on me 43" chest 5^ 8""height .sleeves ok,

Good choice!
Very good jacket, nice styling and an excellent fit that’s just as warm as a down. Good water resistance and dries very fast. RAB brand is priced at a bit of a premium so pricey for a synthetic filled jacket.

Excellent jacket and great quality too, as I've become used to with anything I buy from Rab. I would thoroughly reccomend purchasing. Great to wear on its own over a base layer and enough room to wear a fleece underneath.
