love this flour. Have only made buckwheat pancakes, but the are delicious. Not your typical pancake as they are denser and grainer than normal pancakes, but that is what makes then so good. Flour is very easy to use

Buckwheat is awesome to cook with for those of us who don't tolerate wheat well and this one is really fresh.If you are new to using Buckwheat, learn to cook with it, such as letting pancake batter sit for about 20 minutes before cooking it, to make fluffy, yummy pancakes.Real maple syrup is best with Buckwheat, IMHO. Honey is also a good second.This nutty tasting grain tastes seo much better and richer than GMO wheat.It's sad that they altered our wheat to the point that it makes people sick, and that GMO-altered wheat has infected most of the wheat on the planet, and causes much intestinal distress, has so many people off to the gastrointerologist.Thankfully, Buckwheat has not been messed with!The pancakes we make taste far better than any made with wheat, and these are more filling, and although they keep you full longer. They don't give you that "rock in your stomach" feeling, and it is far less prone to cause digestive problems.There are a lot of "gluten-free" products and flours, but this flour, IMHO, has the best flavor of any I have tried, and I have tried a lot!Buckwheat is amazing, yet you need to learn to cook with it! Mostly it's about giving time to rise before cooking it.This brand, Red Mill, is excellent. It was fresh when received, too!Freshness does make a difference, and Red Mill comes through!Learn how to cook with buckwheat, and it will be a treat to make pancakes with the kids, and without the tummy aches afterwards.It takes about 20 minutes longer to cook, but it is worth every minute!Using buttermilk (or milk with vinegar as a substitute) instead of just milk is key when making buckwheat pancakes! That and letting it rise that 20 minutes.

I made buckwheat pancakes for the first time with this. wanted to try a gluten-free alternative to the normal gluten-free rice flours. This doesn’t have much flavor But then again what flour does? I just made a basic pancake with some syrup and it was OK. I would probably try something different next time as I mentioned there was just no flavor.

The buckwheat pancake mix is very good. I follow the recipe and we had them for breakfast. I couldn’t find the pancake mix in the grocery store so I had to get it through the mail.

Quality food. Great taste and high in fiber.

I use this to mix in with my protein pancake mix.
