Piece of Cake: Home Baking Made Simple Hardcover – September 16, 2014

This is a great book on baking with background stories included. The receipts are unusual and original. I love to bake so I am having a great time with this book.

This book is so fantastic with such great recipes – I'm going to bake my way through it this summer!Its written in a very personable style with interesting recipes that are easy to follow...and I haven't them before. Beautiful photos too!I want to bake something with these two guys.

Awesome recipes! These guys have their bakery just down the street from my wife and I in London, and we go there all the time. Their food is awesome, their exceptionally nice to just talk to, and the recipes in the book are definitely ones to keep.

I sent it to my bro in law for Christmas as he likes to bake. He really likes it. He liked the suggestions for substitutions in recipes especially.

I've made several recipes from this book (natilla cake, sugar saucers, snickerdoodles, neiman marcus cookies, all of the chocolate stuff recipes) and loved each one. I appreciate the weight measurements for the recipes. Can't recommend this book enough.

Saw this cookbook at the store the other day and loved it. It was a bunch of great recipes that are in bar form. I'm definitely going to be getting it.

I was really looking forward to getting this book. I will make it clear that the one star is not related to the contents. But to the fact that this is just a reprint of Baked in America: The generous art of brownies, cupcakes, whoopies, muffins and more: The Generous Art of American Baking - Brownies, Cupcakes, Muffins and More with a new name. There is not a single difference. The contents are five star excellent recipes. I just have them all already. I was really excited for a second book from the authors but this is a huge let down I will be seeking to return.

I too was disappointed to find this was a reprint, the original book is excellent and I too was excited about the prospect of a second book, what a shame.
