Biolage Cleansing Conditioner Defining Gel-Cream, 5.07 Fl Oz

I don’t hate it. LolMost creams I don’t like because they clump my hair together and it’s a full pain washing my hair. Tears from how much my hair breaks trying to comb condition it.This stuff is t like that. The floral scent isn’t that strong to be a bother and it’s soft enough it does not clump my curls up and damage them. I found I like to use this with the biolage curl elixir gel. They work well together to define the curl and hold the curl for a good multiple days.

I have very fine hair due to post chemo medications (chemo made my hair so thick, but Tamoxifen made it SO thin). I still have chemo curls after more than 20 years. BUT, it was hard to find any product that was light enough not to weigh down my fine hair, but substantial enough to support my curls. This is IT! This product maintains my curls WITHOUT being stiff like many products and it leaves my hair feeling thoroughly conditioned, but not oily. I use this in conjunction with my Biolage pomegranate cleansing conditioner and I adore both products!

Works well and my curly/frizzy hair is so much more manageable. My only complaint is that when I try to take the cap off, the entire pump comes off, makes a bit of a mess! So I leave the cap off. But still the first time I use it I have to take the cap off and that's when the entire pump comes off. Something wrong with the design of the bottle-pump-cap!!

Minimal smell, easy to apply when wet. Gets a sticky when partially dry, which is why I don’t like it. I touch my hair a lot and therefore get tons of flyaways with this product. It also makes my hair more beach wavy than curly and doesn’t clump the hair together. This product is more of a gel hold than a curl promoter. My hair type: I have Italian curly hair; so, thick hair and looser curls that can range from tight waves to bigger ringlets.

I have dermatitis and darn near EVERYTHING breaks my scalp out. When I am using this product my scalp stays somewhat happy. It's not greasy.. and when it dries, if you brush your hair out, your hair is somewhat manageable yet moisturized. I have no issues pulling my hair into a pony so that the roots stretch and then taking a flat iron over it after it dries and it's brushed out.. There are no noticeable flakes either.. The scent is almost like a light baby applesauce/pear..

Quality Biolage product but a little weighty for my naturally curly hair.Had better results when I placed some of the product in my hand and mixed it with warm tap water before applying to my damp, towel- dried hair.Overall a good Matrix Biolage product.

My hair type:2B/C curly, dry and coarse-textured.The product:It has a medium hold that works for about 24h (I'd say not more than one sleeping night like most products)It smells nice, it is milky and leaves the hair shiny, soft and curly. It does not make hair crunchy and so although it is very gentle with hair, at the same time, it is effective enough to give hairs a shiny, soft natural look.Thanks!

This product is awesome for curly hair. My hair is fine, soft, and corkscrew curly. I spread a single pump of this through my chin length hair and then finger-comb and scrunch it into ringlets. It air dries perfectly without the stiffness or crunchy feel you get from some curly styling products. And the smell in incredible!
