Not sure if you can use them on washing machine... But they rust as I found out pal 👍

I don't know what you mean "Are they approved " I ordered them and they fit perfectly in my shower head and washing appliances, they do filter out all the limescale that my shower kicks out and I have had no problems with them, I do recommend them from an electrical engineering point of view.
