Awesomeness
Have had this about a week and I love it. Great clock with lots of features and options. The best part? As soon as I plugged it in it was set to the right date and time. I can't sleep with any lights in the room, so having the ability to turn off the display is great. The only (minor) problem is when you turn the display off at night there is a super bright tiny LED light that turns on which is brighter than the lowest dim setting. Whoever thought this was a good idea at the company needs to be smacked in the head since that tiny light defeats the purpose of turning off the display. Easy fix though, I just put a piece of electrical tape over the light. Surprisingly, the projection doesn't light up the room at all and clearly displays the time on the ceiling or wall with an adjustable dial on the back (check out the picture of the projected time on my ceiling). Anyway it's a good alarm clock for the price, with more features than you'll probably use (I don't really need my alarm clock to tell me the temp in my bedroom.) Regardless, it's a great little clock that looks nice. I highly recommend it!

Does the job!
This is a convenient little alarm clock. My fav feature is the projection on the ceiling or wall. It's very nice to be able to see the time on the ceiling without having to turn to see the actual clock. (Ideally, it would be great to have a clock that has a wake-up light, projection, good sound, Bluetooth connection, and USB smart charging ports- but this just does not exist all in one unit.) For the price this does a good job of the projection, the dual alarms are good, and there are 10 presets each for AM and FM radio. The sound is not great, but I am just waking up to NPR or talk radio so it's fine for that. If you want really good sound- look elsewhere. At first, the projected numbers seemed to have too much space between them - but I got used to it after a few days. The numbers are just the right brightness- not too bright to keep me awake- and the blue numbers on the clock have multiple dimming settings. It seems like all of these projection clocks have the same odd problem of not being able to have the clock facing your bed and project at a straight angle when on the ceiling. I was looking for one that has 360-degree rotation but could not find that for the projection part- as a feature in any of these types of clocks- seems really dumb, but I was able to compensate by having the projection at a slight angle on the ceiling. Its seems like they should be able to come up with an easy design solution for this if they just had the projector part rotate in all directions. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If anyone knows of a projection clock that actually projects straight with more rotation options please post a link here! The time set automatically when I turned it on and set up was very easy. The snooze button could be bigger but I'm getting used to that. The radio presets have to cycle through all 10 stations before you can pick the one you want- so I compensated by having the same station repeated a few times in the presets.

Loving all the features!
I purchased this alarm clock in August for my teenage son, even after reading all the negative reviews about the brightness of the LED light. He absolutely loves it! He is not a light sleeper and the light did not bother him at all. He set the clock display to show the date, temperature, and time which it rifles through every second or so, while simultaneously projecting the time on the ceiling. Naturally, if you open the curtains and let in a lot of light or turn on a bright light, you will not see the projection, but he always keeps his curtains drawn anyway. The best thing that he loves about this alarm is the weekend skip, meaning he doesn't have to wake up on a Saturday morning to turn off the alarm which normally wakes him up for school on the weekdays. But most importantly for me, the alarm (which we set to low) does not wake me in the adjoining room since I don't have to wake up as early as he does.Nowhere in any of the reviews or the alarm's product description is there a description of the type of alarm the clock has. I was hoping for the one that beeps low for a few seconds and gets increasingly louder. This is even better. The alarm starts with single beeps, then after a few seconds, does double beeps, then triple beeps...all at the same volume. Just annoying enough to wake a 15-year-old :) The usb port in the rear is a great addition. He uses it every night to charge his phone. The radio is the only useless feature because we never use it or turn it on.The only con I can think of, and it's a minor con, is that we had trouble finding a happy medium of where to project the alarm time and see the clock display at the same time. Once you angle the clock on the nightstand so that you can see the display from his bed, then the projection is turned at some weird angle on the ceiling (which needs to be rotated a few angles more rather than just up and down). And no, setting the clock is not really intuitive. You HAVE to read the instructions and they get rather fuzzy when it comes time to set the temperature, but we got it. This is the best alarm clock we've had to date. Before this, we had Moshi, the talking alarm clock, which stopped responding to commands after 4 years.
