Bought a set for my HP 8710, It would not recognize either of the two blacks, I didnt even want to try the colors. Sending them all back for a refund. Complete waste of time, had to go to local store, pay twice the money for an original HP Black to make work. Its what I get for trying to save a few bucks,,,cost me more in time in the long run.

This is my first time to use this brand of ink. My printer was fine prior to it’s use. A new printer btw. Now it will only print color properly if on best print which is the most ink guzzling. I replaced the new failed cartridge will a name brand and my printer still is failing to print properly after using this brands ink. Very disappointed. Was working perfectly prior to switching to this cheaper brand. Wish I’d never done it.I contacted amazon to see if I was doing something wrong. I wasn’t. They offered me half the cost to replace the item. I reached out to the company and have not heard from them yet. Will update if this situation changes.

I have had these officeworld cartridges for my HP 8710 for a little bit over a month. When I first installed these cartridges I couldn't get a decent print, i had to run all kinds of tests on the printer before I could even print a legible sheet. I spent over an hour messing around with the printer, a waste of time. Today I went to print something and it told me the yellow cartridge was defective, I took it out and it was very light (empty). I have had nothing but problems with these cartridges and it's simply not worth the frustration and wasted time. Do yourself a favor and listen to this review as well as others and just buy the HP OEM cartridges...I wish I had done that in the first place. Update 12/2/19 - the vendor contacted me and offered a refund if I would take down my review. I took down the review and they NEVER sent the refund. I would have gladly updated my review to reflect the fact that they issued a refund, because that is what they should do when they sell an inferior product that DOES NOT WORK. Do yourself a favor, stay away and buy original HP OEM cartridges. Update 12/3/19 - the vendor followed up with me today and issued a refund, which was the fair and appropriate thing to do. I changed my rating from 1 stars to 3 stars to reflect this gesture of customer service and I appreciate the fact that they want to make things right. These cartridges did not work well for me, but maybe they do work for some people.

My HP Officejet 8740 refuses to accept these ink cartridges and will NOT print with them installed. Even after a printer hard reset the printer dialog box still shows "No ink/toner". And of course, my window for Amazon returns just expired last week! Maybe this time I'll finally learn my lesson and just keep paying HP's outrageous ink prices. At least that way I can PRINT!===UPDATE 10/17/19For whatever reason, my HP Printer now prints with these ink cartridges. The HP still doesn't "like" them, of course, as it complains about non-HP ink cartridges being installed. That figures since HP obviously wants you to buy their own extremely expensive and highly overpriced ink.I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars because a) they do seem to be compatible with my printer after all (error messages not withstanding) and b) the seller reached out to me offering a full refund. That's over and above what I would expect given I made no such request to them or thru Amazon. Since the ink is now working, I'm turning down their offer. Fair is fair, after all.I'm only giving 4 stars because of the aforementioned initial difficulty and because printed results don't seem to be quite as saturated as the original HP carts provide. It's very close though and for the price difference, I can live with that. I can't comment on their life span yet, however.So... given their performance so far and OfficeWorld's customer service, I'll likely be a repeat customer.

UPDATE: Just to prove a point...I've attached the bribe letter requesting this review be changed from 1-star to 5-star; the very thing I warned you all about! Please turn down these kind of offers to keep others from being duped into buying worthless products. Also attached are photos showing the extremely poor print quality plus the extra 'blob' of ink these cartridges dump thru your expensive printers!!!_ _ _ _ _I just installed these cartridges' that I purchased because of the high reviews. I' am immediately experiencing poor print quality: black lines not showing up in spread sheets; greyed colors, pixilated photo prints. We all need to acknowledge fake (or "bought") positive product reviews are a reality. I was solicited by a different company to post a 5-star review on product in exchange for material goods. On-line shopping is no longer reliable except for name-brand items; and even then hopefully you are not getting an imitation foreign-made item.
